The only question is how long will this continue. The educated and aware realise the consequences but the electorate by far are ill educated and succumb to distraction, polarization and freebies. There is really no hope for India. It's massive natural and human capital reserves, if channeled appropriately, would have made it one of the superpowers. Instead, we live from one election to the other, ignoring inflation, worsening poverty, a debt trapped middle class and religious polarization. BJP, Ambani and Adani have accumulated enough wealth to buy power for the foreseeable future. The brain drain is accelerating. At this rate, only those who cannot find a job overseas will be left behind in India. TBH, as of now, I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. It's only darkness every where I look. God save us.
