I can't understand a single word the staff at Tim's are saying, they're ignorant asf, talk faster than an auctioneer, and my order is always a suprise.

What a lovely country that forces their own people to move out so that they can use cheap developing-country labors, and giving those people PR and citizenship. Soon this country will full of people who speak English and French with Indian accent or Chinese accent, but still call themselves Canadians.

I live in America, southwest. I live in a diverse state, only 34% white (nevermind it being 90% white when my grandpa was growing up). I’ve been told “go back to Europe” for being a white guy, despite my family being in California for 5 generations, and in America since the New English settlers. I finally took a family trip to Europe last month, and the situation is… insane. Only went to Paris and Amsterdam. Never seen as many Muslims or Sub-Saharan Africans in my entire life. And I’m not from some low density farm town, I live near Los Angeles. If Europe won’t stop the replacement of our people, why do they expect me to stay silent here?!

Been watching things for the last 40 years, and while I still don’t know if it’s been orchestrated by someone homegrown or afar, someone really started to stifle the Canadian economy some time ago. Wages vs cost of living went down. Reproduction went down. Now we have immigrants using it like a drop over, realizing it’s set up to not get ahead and then leaving.
Wage covers living expenses, and the business owners are certainly not going broke.

I'm a Canadian senor, although I'm out of the work force. Due to the cost of living in Canada I have to go back to work.
But that aside, I think they should cancel all work visas and start to hire Canadian citizen. Not temporary ones, but people actually ones born in Canada, with at least 2 generations.
Don't like what I have to say, to f'in bad.

Greetings from sunny Uruguay. I am a provisional resident here having left Canada a couple of years ago. Moved my company to Ireland also two years ago. Big expense to depart, but that's all paid for now and I an free from Canada's BS.

It's racist not to see someone's skin color but it's also racist to notice that a whole influx of people of color suddenly entered your area.

Mid 30s Canadian here, our politicians don't work for us (none of the major parties, not just the one in power). They are all beholden to the housing ponzi scheme and corporate interests, we are not a serious country (and don't even start with the 51st state shit, not at all interested in that, yanks). Yet my fellow Canadians keep blindly electing the same fucking parties; the bread and circuses, pitting left vs right is extremely effective. This country is fucked, and I am tired of getting screwed at every turn.
To any young (ish?) fellow Canadians reading this, don't let family or friends be the reason you stay in Canada (my mistake, working on it) and for your own sake emigrate, this country will not stop sacrificing your future.

I wanna get mad at this video and say it's not that bad... but then I remembered I'm a young professional leaving the GTA to work abroad because my options are so much better elsewhere
@ItsUdenity
I'm living in Canada and my family used to live in our 20 year old townhouse for over $1200 per month, before we were kicked out for no reason, even though we had paid the rent in full and other expenses. We have been living in our grandmother's house for 8 months now because living is to expensive. Canada's is going to hell.

Canadian here. And I can confirm that it’s sad to see how things have unfortunately been going downhill with the economy, or dare I say in general. However throughout our lifetime Canada will come and go dozens of leaders and political powers, it doesn’t matter if it’s Conservative or Liberal. BOTH parties have their fair share of faults in this country. Sometimes it feels like it doesn’t matter one way or another.
While I am aware of the issues that are ongoing and the fact that things need to be improved quite a lot, my love for this country still remains. I remember watching Bofang’s video about this very topic, and he believed that to potentially turn things around: It's not about going back in time, it's about learning of what made this country work in the first place to create a whole new golden era.
I think he might be on to something if you ask me.
@spnked9516
I don't think there is any viable way out of the current situation. In the simplest terms possible, the kinds of changes we need would require Canadians to sacrifice in the immediate short term (i.e. the next decade or so), and the reality is that the average Canadian just isn't willing to do that.
Expect things to get worse.

Most of the jobs created are also part-time. I hope those that voted for Carney are ready to go fight against Russia. I say they should go when Carney conscxts Canadians and also the immigrants too.

Also, yep, my wifes best friend is a researcher. She has a doctorate but is not what you would call a doctor. She went to school for like 9 years and was working at that school after making like $28 an hour or about 80K a year. She just moved to the U.S. for the same job making 130K USD. After the difference in our dollar its double. She's also super bleeding heart internet left and hates guns and most men but moved to the place she deemed most toxic just to survive. That is where we are at.
@MarcinMoka1
I immigrated from Poland with my family 30 years ago because we wanted to be Canadian. We recently, along with thousands of other, especially east and south Europeans, moved back.
@Shivera1963
The capitalists have always wanted to import cheap labor - especially the kind that will not complain about abuses by employers. I would like to know how so many people are allowed into Canada who cannot speak either English or French fluently, if at all. When I immigrated to Canada it was a requirement that you speak one of the official languages.
@leapnlarry
I am a dual citizen, us/canada, i have lived in the us for the last 45 years, i spent two months in Ontario for the first time in decades, i was amazed at the difference in population, it was like i was visiting a third world country. I thought about moving back to canada permanently but, not anymore. Thanks for this kind of content, this is what has really changed my mind. Larry
@TheLiamster
I live in the UK and the exact same problems are happening here. I’m honestly worried for our future. We have a problem with a huge influx of immigrants being used for cheap labour and essentially skewing the job market leaving native Brits worse off. Unfortunately immigration has been politicised and tensions inflamed to the point where any meaningful conversation can’t even happen without shouting, name calling and even violence. Unfortunately some people are using it as an excuse for racism and xenophobia which is horrible or are trying to mask it under the guise of “nationalism”. People are even rioting and vandalising public property. Of course we can and should accommodate refugees and have some level of immigration but the current rate is unsustainable and something needs to be done about it.
@AandM21
I moved out because I was jobless from July 2022 when my baby was born and was jobless until I moved out. That job that was paying me 27 bucks hourly, employers were offering 17 and 18 just a little above minimum wages. The temporary workers (student) started doing those jobs without an experience, skills and knowing the background of it.
@Fae_Rust
born and raised here, 25yrs old. I cant get my life started... no one is paying a wage that matches our cost of living here. Student debt is drowning me. I need to leave...
@kazwalker764
I'm waiting to see how the Alberta independence referendum goes next year, the latest polls show it sitting at around 45% in favor of independence, so there's hope.
If Alberta chooses independence, I'll stay in the former province, and newly minted country I was born in.
If Alberta chooses to remain a colony of Ottawa, then it'll be time for me to find somewhere other than Canada to live.
@mutatedAi
Last year I moved my money out of Canada and into another country because the taxes in Canada are just ridiculous. I am a Canadian patriot, but just like Carney did, it makes no sense to keep money in Canada once wealth grows enough.
What the liberals do not realize or maybe they do not care is a country can only be taxed so much before diminishing returns hits.
And I think that is where we are now. Anyone who makes any decent money in Canada moves it out of country or they end up moving their entire family out.
A major changes needs to happen
