US President Donald Trump said he now considers the ceasefire with Iran over “Wednesday evening Washington time” but that it’s “highly unlikely” he would extend it further if a deal is not reached.
It’s “highly unlikely that I’d extend it” Trump told Bloomberg in a phone interview. The ceasefire was originally slated to last two weeks and began the evening of April 7.

US needs a grand strategy on how to develop its own country as oppose to thinking about how to stay ahead of competition. I am South korean. Instead of going abroad to America, I chose to study Chinese political economy in my country for my phD. And finally I think my choice was great. Students who have prepared going America for study are faced bad situations after Trump for visa issue, social safety and inflation issue. When I grew up, I heard many USA pop songs which was calling for freedom against world, but what I can see now is totally a disaster. I learned my English not going to USA but just study at home. For 5 years, I have studied Chinese for my future. Even still, I haven't visited USA but I still study USA and read articles about them to understand its regime, words and power. But USA politics gave a lot of disappointment for the student who study them for a long time.

This whole thing is illogical. I still don't get why there are peace negotiation when trump keeps saying the war is over, then says it will be over soon and constantly saying we completely destroyed all their ability to fight back over and over. You only negotiate to end wars when all your aerial bombing and destruction and threats of more, hasn't got what you wanted. When you win a war you get to dictate and force compliance to your demands. Your military forces are marching into cities and towns and occupying territory. Not getting what you wanted from the enemy means you didn't win. A blockade tells everyone your enemy won't give up and we can't make them.
