I can't speak to "megaprojects" but I can tell you in Shanghai, the rate of development and improvement and expansion of just normal day to day quality of life and infrastructure stuff is nothing short of mind-boggling.
There is a downside though, replacing everything with shiny glass and steel does feel it's loosing a lot of 'character' tho :(

There's a little mistakes in Tai hu tunnels.
Actually its not perpendicular rather it would be horizontal. It connects two districts of Wuxi , (Binhu and Yixing)
Anyway it's not a big deal. keep focus next time and continue your good work

I go to China a few times a year for work. I went a few months ago for the first time since 2019. Things were always changing there but not going for 4 years, I can't believe how much changed. Entire new highways. A high speed rail line that was just starting back then is already done. North America likes to shit on China but while we sit and argue with each other, they move forward and for more advanced. It's something to see.

C'est une bonne chose de vouloir rétablir certaines vérités.
Toutefois il faut bien s'informer et avoir des données vérifiées et vérifiables avant de le faire.
Ainsi,les dimensions des continents sur une carte ne sont pas volontairement modifiées. La terre n'est pas plate mais une boule et pour la représenter à plat, il faut forcément adapter les distances. Sur une carte, l'équateur a la même longueur que les cercles polaires, alors que dans la réalité l'équateur est beaucoup plus longue.
Chacun peut faire l'expérience de la difficulté à mettre à plat une boule: prenez une orange et essayez de l'étaler à plat.
D'autre part faites des recherches sur les cartes. Vous verrez qu'il y a différents types de cartes. La carte qui respecte le plus les dimensions des continents est une carte compliquée et difficile à lire pour n'importe.
Bref, ce n'est pas pour tromper les Africains qu'on représentent ainsi les continents. Sachons aussi, que cette "déformation" affecté aussi les Amériques et l'Asie.
Autre chose, dire que les cartes sont ainsi faites pour créer une image fausse du continent chez les Africains, revient à dire que les Africains sont des idiots qu'on peut facilement berner
