I don't think you use your commonsense. Those are very old houses being demolished. Residents have moved to new homes with new furnishings. If you don't know, ask, don't use your Indian logic to assume. Or you prefer them to be living in slums like in some parts of India where light flickers at night with no clean water running from the pipes? This is definitely not Gaza. Someone from China should flag this guy to the Chinese authorities for spreading misinformation so that he will be barred from entry in future. You talk and act as if India is so protective but Muslims in India are persecuted by the Hindus there.

@avlit9440 Exactly, that's the point. Such things happen everywhere, but the vlogger talk as if it's unique only to China. He should first of all talk about his own country. But the point is U......rs actually still keep their faith, it's not under threat, as long as it isn't pushing the extremist thoughts of Islam by the terrorists. From what I know when I visited XJ (I'm from Singapore), the govt actually pay for the bulk of the costs to move them into modern new houses from those adobe types. He doesn't speak the language so he can't find out much except made his own assumptions based on what he sees and thinks and what Indian media has told him. In that case, his travel is a wasted opportunity, he's merely rehashing what he thought he already knows. Now I'm not saying China is perfect, far from it, as is any other country. But it can't be that bad if it has moved at least 800M out of the poverty line. What was once impoverished lives have turned better even in the rural villages, but this is still an ongoing process. At least meat on the table is no longer a rarity even for poor regions. AT least their streets in the most rural part of it is still cleaner than India's cities.

至少现在即使是在贫困地区，餐桌上有肉也不再是稀罕事了；至少中国最偏远农村的街道，也依然比印度的城市街道干净。
