The Soviet unx collapsed because it got bankrupt. I simply don't understand why US didn't get bankrupt long time ago. I understand: you can print money until the hell freezes over. But I also understand, that within one second, when people loose confidence in any currency the value of that currency goes straight to zero and never ever recovers.

Ben, as always, you hit the nail on the head, your understanding is impeccable, yet, I say yet, because there is one major problem we all face, you've not ever addressed, not only you, but everyone like you, (people doing the right thing by disclosing the truth). What I mean is this....

Thank you Ben for your truthful reporting and analysis. As a disgusted American I don't understand why the majority of my fellow citizens refuse to seek these truths and continue to drink the KoolAid of corporate owned mainstream news. Again, thank you for what you do.

US havent fought an even comparable opponent since Civil War.
It either backstabbed it opponent(Iraq) or arrived at 11th hour(WW1 & WW2).
