We are up to day 12 and people are screaming about Straights of Hormuz ship attacks, high oil prices and doom and gloom. Depending on what happens over the coming months will determine if the military action initiated by the US and Israel will have positive long term effects or if not will need to be repeated regularly.

quick question how those goes iran favor?  where destroyed basically almost everything in a country needed to be functional,  no navy, no Air Force, no military ability , no income from oil, already broken economy to a war torn economy. so how come his assumptions and logic works in this war.  if they hit rest of the places like energy, road and high ways, bridges, air port, all oil refineries. then iran can even function . doesnt make any sense to me.

Again, US oil is extracted by private companies and sold on the global market by private companies back to the US.  And instead if taxing those companies the US subsidize them.  In no way will the US government benefit.

The Blitz on London did nothing to break the spirit of the British early in the war nor the huge bombing of German cities later on. Clearly there are no historians working at the White House or Pentagon. If there were perhaps they wouldn’t make so many mistakes.

I'm from the US.  Aside from this being an unnecessary and immoral war, it was easily foreseeable that it would turn out badly.  Trump has the insight of a guinea pig.  Now, it's going to take a ground war or a wounded, vengeful regime will be in place for the future.  Also, as someone living in Vietnam I totally agree this looks very much like that war.
