Tariffs only work if America produces every item alone, and with tariffs, imported goods become expensive and that protects local producers lol. If you do not produce it yourself and you put a tariff, that means your customers will pay that tariff. How can China pay the tariff when a tariff is a US import tax? The ones who pay are the US importers, and they pass it on to US customers. That is simple economics, and the US is the center of world economic experts, but does this? Lol.
