China has reportedly launched its first third-generation nuclear-powered attack submarine — the Type 095 “Sui-class” SSN — marking a major leap in the People’s Liberation Army Navy’s undersea warfare capability. Satellite imagery from Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry in Huludao suggests that Beijing may now possess a submarine designed to rival the most advanced boats in the world.
