He’s a disrespectful piece of crap.
American veteran living in the UK as an Expat I’ve learned quite a lot in the decade I’ve lived here in the UK and a lot when I lived in Japan, one of the biggest things I learned was exactly how much the allies actually helped in all the wars and how many people actually died. What I mean by that is this in the USA they DO NOT teach us anything apparently, they only go over what the USA has done and simply don’t teach what other countries did or how they helped in almost any capacity. It honestly sickens me with how much misinformation is taught in our school systems back stateside.
My son goes to school here in the UK and I feel academically speaking he’s learning far more than I learned in the comparative grade/year equivalence.
I salute each and everyone one of our allies and am so proud that I get to meet and see so many military members for the Royal Army, and Royal Air Force on a daily basis. I work as a SME alongside both, providing assistance whenever I can and still work with the US military providing assistance.
Everyone who reads this please know not all Americans are dumb or ignorant to your sacrifices and we are all hoping this stain on our country leaves soon we need him out of office him and his entire administration.
If only the clown politicians on both sides would simply impeach and get them all out unfortunately they all are taking the piss and making backroom deals to make easy money.

Too little and too late traitor. Any congressman still standing with you can go fuck themselves. They enabled this toddler behavior alienating our allies to benefit themselves, and stood by silently as it happened. You are all cowards. This includes SCOTUS for giving him the okay to do whatever he wants.

They don't care. It's all about money to them and to hell with anyone else. It's the reason the US is in it's death spiral now. They are absolutely screwed without Canada selling them fertilizer and nuclear fuel as they have none of their own and they are absolutely screwed threatening Mexico with the amount of fresh produce that gets imported from there. The US is not self sufficient and instead of working with the world they have decided to elect a dictator TWICE and the US representatives and senators just don't give a shit.
It's really sad but it's a problem for US citizens to sort out and until that time expect the world to be a hostile place to you.
I've got American family to mixed race parents and what is happening is absolutely horrifying. This abuse of power from ICE agents on a power trip needs to stop.

Denmark lost soldiers for the US as well in Afghanistan. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself and is entirely ignorant to US and world history.
I hope these countries band together and crash our economy. We deserve it for re-electing Trump.

It’s so sick.
The only reason he is doing this walk-back towards the UK and not the other NATO countries he slandered is because he is expecting a visit from King Charles this year.
Trump has long been known to admire the British Royal Family, and despite his crassness, deeply craves (his distorted version of) prestige.
The way in which world events affecting millions are driven directly by his ego and personal interests is totally sickening to even contemplate.

Here’s why… Trump’s backers are backing Farage and that ilk. The spineless Farage’s job is to sit at Trump’s feet, like some sort of hideous cat. Trump’s comments about our soldiers, veterans, and dead would even raise ire among the gormless Reformers. Farage couldn’t speak against Trump without jeopardising his owner. Farage couldn’t support Trump without risking public opinion. Farage couldn’t say anything. Not saying anything is saying something. Trump’s backers became very aware that the comments jeopardised the rise of the right in the UK, Starmer was responding very favourably.

To put it in other words, DJTs handlers are again walking back misspoken, unintended slaps at allies. The US citizenry is watching US credibility draining away while scrambling to make ends meet as prices are ramped up to make wage/salary gains worthless. Plus, the Congress Republicans are fearful of addressing either the $34 Trillion debt that's eating GDP or mainstay social service programs intended to support US stability like Social Security, Healthcare insurance support (until that rigermarole is readdressed by law) and food security. At some point, the Republicans will find their lost courage and ignore DJT/ADMIN47 poor decision-making and use of resources.

Because Trump has to be coddled and told about history because he’s an uneducated moron.

I know Prince Harry said something about it but I'm not aware if any others have.
Frostsorrow
All of them, even the loathed Prince Andrew served.
SnooTomatoes3032
And Andrew probably has the biggest claim to having actually served and putting his life on the line too. It's one of the few things people respected him for.
His job? To act as a decoy for anti air and anti ship rockets. It's an incredibly risky job and it's pretty well documented too.
Still doesn't excuse the fact he's a nonce though obviously.
Harry, too, served in front line roles as an attack helicopter pilot. He had previously also worked in an armoured land role too.
The rest didn't serve in front line roles, and Edward famously didn't pass the Royal Marines basic training, but they still served.
vaska00762
Traditionally, the next in line is never placed in harm's way.
Charles never was in front line duty, neither was William, who was most notable for performing Search and Rescue fights in the UK.
Elizabeth was a mechanic in Malta during WWII, and I'm not sure what what Edwards VIII (or George VI) did.

His entire administration is incapable of admitting fault for anything. Just constant reframing of their positions as they slowly accept no one is believing their lies.

Walking his previous insults back like this costs him absolutely nothing with his base. If he just says a quick apology literally nobody in the world takes him seriously.
DeLousedInTheHotBox
He didn't even apologize, this is the most anyone could get out of him, I'm guessing after both Starmer and some of the more levelheaded people on his own team demanded an apology
