My son was an officer on the command deck at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. He was in charge of the F35 logistics on the base. I got to visit a few times and be within a few hundred feet of the F35s doing vertical takeoffs and landings. Amazing machines!

There is st least 3 layers od defence. 40 out of 50 destroyed at the first layer is good.  But would be 55 or 56 in a real shootout. Then then middle layer if anything left the innerlayer mopes up.

All the US/NATO/Israeli air defense systems, AGEIS, TTHUD, Iron Dome, Zeus, Patriots, etc. have only tested targets slower than 3 Mach, since they don't have any 5 Mach+ hypersonic missiles  to be used as targets.  That was why the 7 Mach Fattah missiles were not intercepted in June 2025 war.  The USN super carrier groups keep 2000 km away from Russia/China coasts for the same reason. The 16 Y-20 cargo planes could had brought many hypersonic missiles to attack USS Lincoln and the US bases around the Pershing Gulf, and Israel being a big target.   ������
