We didn’t have a lot of $$ or always enough food. We would ride our bikes to the lake in the park. We’d catch 3-4 cutthroat trout & bike to a restaurant in our neighborhood that served steak & burgers & the best Chinese food. Going out to restaurants was for special occasions. After their lunch rush, we’d knock on the kitchen door with the fish & they would make a beautiful meal & we’d all sit at their family table in the back and have lunch together.

I put the fish on it and cooked it I caught about 6 of them and sat there eating it was great to and had a good time by myself out in the open with pretty trees and a beautiful pond . I got full went home with a smile

于是我先处理好鱼，又找了两根树枝搭成叉状，再横架上一根树枝，生起了一小堆篝火。我把鱼架在火上烤，前后总共钓了大概六条。我就这么坐在那儿吃鱼，一个人待在开阔的天地间，身边是葱郁的树木和澄澈的池塘，别提多惬意了。最后吃得饱饱的，我笑着回了家。
