I'm an American but I have lived in China for three years now. I have not seen or heard of one crime here other than a few corrupt politicians being arrested. Corruption, drug trafficking, porn, violent acts, illegal immigration....none of that is tolerated here and is dealt with swiftly. The people are warm, welcoming, generous and helpful. They love Americans and many have relatives who live in and became U.S. citizens. Don't believe the political propaganda you hear outside of China. Come see and experience it for yourself. It's truly an amazing place and culture!

Considering you speak no Chinese, had no visa, had no idea where you were going and talked non-stop into your camera, I would day it went incredibly smoothly. The service people you met were all courteous and genuinely friendly!

Bro, I gotta say this again... China is literally the most camera friendly country. Try doing the camera thingy in UK or US or even France eiffel tower areas...or Europe... you will be chased down by drug addicts or dealers or scammers... haha LOL... and Chinese totally have no issue with cameras as long as you do it respectfully ... kudos... good interesting videos again. Love it... Cheers!

the taxi driver need your navigation to your hotel, and he didn't cheat you, only asked you to pay the right fare of 10CNY. he is an honest taxi driver like most of Chinese people. the first person you met is not policeman, he is a security people.
@hyperclass1
local Chinese are very friendly...and very helpful even they have a hard time to speak english... and China is very safe country

If your card only has a 4 digit pin on it you need to add 00 to the end or start of your PIN number for your card to work

The security guard said that both taking a taxi and the subway are options. He probably thought taking a taxi would be more expensive, so he recommended you to take the subway.

China is by far my favourite country to travel to.

When waiting for the subway, the announcement will say: "Passengers exiting first, then boarding." This means that passengers arriving at their stop should exit the subway first, and then waiting passengers can board. This sequential reminder can prevent crowding caused by two groups of people arriving at the same time, especially when there are many people.

27:30 The taxi driver's suggestion was correct. His route is the shortest and fastest; your phone navigation took a detour, resulting in a longer travel time.

word of wisdom, if you ever get lost on street or need an translation, ask anyone who looks under 30 and work in office, he or she should be able to help you out. Younger generation of Chinese are well educated and most likely learning English in high school and college.

The China videos about to be so epic bro just keep doing your thing. I love it. Why can’t the United States be like China where it’s all clean and super futuristic and so moderate. Oh yeah we are putting our money to towards Dirty Wars. China is literally investing and putting money into there economy. Look at all there skyscrapers in each cities at night. They are literally living in 2050, while we are still stuck in 2010. Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Skyline can never compete with China skyscrapers like Chongqing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Shenzhen, and Shanghai.

The thumbs-up gesture is a sign of approval in most countries. However, in several countries in West Africa and the Middle East, including Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan, the gesture has the connotation of "up yours!" It's used the same way the middle finger is in the US.

“get off before you board” is a message cut short. the full text should have been “ let people get off before you board”
