I disagree with eating using hands. Most fastfood like KFC, Macdonald etc, eating with hand is ok. It's about being hygienic and wash your hands first before you eat really. Most Indian people are nice actually, but in average I sense for some reason some looks down at Asian and admire Westerners more.

I agree to most of your valid points. It is always wise to accept the fact and shortcomings and try to learn from it. The biggest problem we Indians have is Quality Education (educated but illiterate) and short sightedness within the leadership and on top of that things that makes it worst is corruption, intolerance and injustice in the society. Like you said every society has some shortcomings so rather being judgmental we need to be more tolerant and active learner.

感觉西方国家也不是处于好心指出印度的短板，本来美国希望能够扶持印度取代中国的制造业大国地位，扶持一个人口与中国近似的同生态位竞争的对手，打断或干扰中国高速发展的趋势。但是印度这几年来不仅制造业没有明显起色，2024年第四季度还出现了失速状况。并且印度精英层表现出的态度是对于发展制造业没有太大的兴趣，他们希望发展金融与服务业，然后通过这两个目前来说就有一定规模的产业对于印度国内的低收入群体产生一些有限的财富转移效应。这种发展模式跟美国这路径是一致的，也就是说印度不但没有变成与中国能够进行同生态位竞争的情况，反而开始跟美国做同生态位竞争了。（看看一部分美国高科技企业管理层都是印度人，科技公司的大部分客服都转移到了印度可以证明我的观点。）个人感觉这才是造成北美国家集体开始反印度的最重要原因。
