I am also an immigrant. I came 10 year ago. One biggest mistake Canada did is by inviting too many students. 684,385 study permits in 2023. 360,000 in 2022. This is just student visas. They gave around 1M visas per year, which is too much for a country with 40million population. Completely government failure. A reasonable number would be around 200,000 visas per year. ping me if you want me to share more information,

TBH the people here in the video are already citizens of Canada and the influx of international students started from 2021 so basically you guys already had this problem but it wasn’t so much in the open back then as compared to how open it is now. Therefore its not good to blame international students entirely for this.
PS: They are showing up even more so since India killed the Khalistani terrorist Nijjer.

I greatly admire Canada's strong stand in protecting the freedom of speech of its citizens, even if they're declared as terrorists. Way to go! Canadians should be very proud of their PM, the world's leader by example, Sir Mr Justin Trudeau. I wish every country has a leader like him. I wish and pray that Mr. Justin accepts the declaration  by Canadian Khalistanis and declare Surrey as Khalistan. UK should follow the suit next.

The first clip is from Nagar Kirtan which a religiously and peaceful ceremony and has nothing to do with Khalistan movement. The flag has khanda on it which is the symbol of Sikhism. The voiceover was done by someone else to make Sikh people look bad, no Punjabi or Sikh person  would say something like this during Nagar Kirtan in the presence of our "Guru Granth Sahib Ji". All the people in the comments are racists and haters. Sikh people respect humanity above caste, religion, race and color. Look at all the charity work we are doing all around the world.

My family has been in Canada since long before there was a Canada. They cut a life out of the raw wilderness with an axe and a plow, and stood strong against hostile elements both natural and human. My family's work and sacrifice supported and built Canada, and they shed their blood in three wars to defend Canada here at home and overseas. I will not dishonour their sacrifice by backing down now, no matter which way the political winds are blowing. I would caution anyone who would try and pick a fight with Canadians to talk to the Americans who tried to fight us in 1812, the Germans of 1918, and the Nazis of 1940. Pushed too far, and when our backs are to the wall, Canadians step away from our  normal compassionate ways, and fight with a savagery our enemies learned to fear and respect. These people would do well to learn from history, before Canadians once again are forced to show what we're made of, when we have no other choice.
