just look at how much stubble burning has reduced, due to floods there was barely any stubble burning, but pollution has increased compared last year. Anyone with a brain can understand that stubble burning is a minor factor and there are much much bigger factors that over it.

Because we are still demanding freebies instead of a corruption free society and clean air. The second problem is DEMOCRACY... Yes, u heard it right. Lucky to be born in Northeast India， The AQI here stays around 17–25 in 24 hours. At night, because of the fog and high moisture it goes even lower. Even in summer, if you keep your car or bike outside, the next morning the seat or roof is always covered with water

Our problems are unique. C isn’t a democracy. They put a blanket ban on farmers burning their crop post harvest. There was no farmer protest they had to worry about. Unlike in India, the problem @Jist so casually chose to ignore. Delhi pollution doesn't originate in Delhi, it starts westward which is pushed into Delhi due to Funnel effect of Aravali and Himalayas. We need to put a blanket ban on Crop burning by farmers.

I think it is a collective failure of the people and the government. When the Delhi elections took place, not the political party, nor the people were concerned about the air quality. If we priorities these problems and make them a big election issue, only then the Government will take action. I also live in ‌Delhi‌ and the air quality is horrible here.
