I’m English! We have 3 meals a day usually..
Breakfast - I usually skip breakfast on a weekday and head straight to work. But not on the weekend, on the weekend I’ll have a Full English;
I made all these breakfasts myself - when I was in a particularly hungry mood..
They usually consist of Bacon, Eggs, pork sausages,Tomatoes + Mushrooms, Homemade Hash browns (egg,flour,salt,potato), beans, toast, black pudding (pigs blood) white pudding (sausage meat) and potato cakes.

Of course, they are usually washed down by a nice cup of English Tea..

Lunch - if it is a Sunday I usually have a traditional Sunday Roast;
This was a meal for 3 and I got it at a local cafe, it consisted of;
Roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, Meat (Chicken/pork/beef), pork crackling (pork fat roasted), asparagus, carrots, Yorkshire puddings, peas, broccoli,gravy + stuffing.
These are served everywhere (pubs/restaurants) on a Sunday - it is also good for bringing the family together around the table and sharing a meal since everyone has busy lives during the week.
Sometimes, I get lucky and my girlfriend will cook me one - just as good but slightly simpler.. (and this was before I added gravy)
Notice the jar of mint sauce - I have that with everything - and its a popular condiment with Lamb roast dinners.

Dinner/Tea - I love Pie, steak pie and shepherds/cottage pie are a staple of any Englishman’s diet;
This is shepherds pie (if it is made with minced lamb) or cottage pie (if it is made with minced beef), we sometimes put vegetables in the pie and serve it with gravy. Also with cheese on top. Delicious!

Steak Pie and chips with peas; self explanatory! Get this from anywhere - especially local pubs. Homemade is the best though - deep fried chips reminds me of when I was younger.
And who could forget Fish & Chips from the local chippy!
Goes well with Tartar Sauce and a nice drizzle of lemon juice on the top!
Or if I’m feeling particularly lazy I’ll get a takeaway - maybe Indian - this is a takeaway I got last week (sorry if the tomato sauce/ketchup offends you) Haha!

Obviously, I dont eat all this food on one day, I usually eat smaller meals like sandwiches, jacket potato etc. depending on the day and situation. But come to think of it.. No wonder us Brits are so fat with all this lovely food readily available to us.
Hope you enjoyed reading!

South Indian here.
India is land of varied cultures and is so rich in it’s diversity that all the 29 states and 7 unx territories follow their own grand cuisine. So let me speak for my state - Andhra Pradesh.
Breakfast
Our day starts with a strong filter coffee followed by a heavy tiffin - generally Idly, Dosa or Upma. Pesarattu and Vada are usually on special days and holidays as they need some extra effort in preparation.
Lunch
The mid-day meal is a very elaborate stunt. Be it lunching at home or taking dabbas to work or college. The staple food is rice, in combination with one dry curry and one dal, followed by rasam or sambar and finally finishing with curd rice. Pickles are eaten in combination with dal and curd. And no, we do not eat on a banana leaf every day - that is only during festivals and special ceremonies.
Evening Snacks
When the clock strikes 5, it is time for some light savories. Most authentic and most loved snack in AP is mirchi bajji and punugulu.
Dinner
Dinner is usually the lightest meal of the day. It is just two items with some pickle by the side. The sambar and curd are a must.
Apart from these, there are a huge varieties of snacks and desserts which are the delicacies of the day. So when in Andhra, make sure you dedicate some time to relish these. They are called Mysorepak, Jangri, Son Papdi, Murukulu, Chakkalu and Chekodilu in the clock-wise order.
Fin.

Malaysian here!
SINCE Malaysia is a multi racial country consisting of Malays, Chinese, Indians and numerous indigenous people, my answer may vary from other Malaysians. First thing first, I’m a Malay.
So, for BREAKFAST, we usually ate Roti Canai
It is an indian food, and we Malaysians will hunt it at Mamaks (Indian restaurant).
2. Nasi Lemak
Nasi lemak is a rice cooked with coconut milk and pandan leaves. Nasi lemak consists of three main sides which is a boiled egg, cucumber, groundnut, dried and fried anchovies, and sambal (sauce made from chilis). Sambal choice may differ to others wether they like plain sambal, shrimp sambal, chicken sambal and etc.
椰浆饭(Nasi Lemak):
3. Kuih
Kuih are bite-sized snack or dessert foods. It is a fairly broad term which may include items that would be called cakes, cookies, dumplings, pudding, biscuits, or pastries in English and are usually made from rice or glutinous rice. The most common kuih Malaysian ate for breakfast is ring doughnut topped with granulated sugar amd currypuff.
粿(Kuih):
LUNCH
Idk how to adress this
In Malaysia, the most common thing we ate for lunch is rice. It is high in carbohydrates and fills your stomach quickly. We do not eat just plain rice for god’s sake stop stereotyping.
We eat ’em with lauk (dishes) such as curry, chicken soup, sweet and sour fish and etc.
But Malaysia’s current generation would just eat western food for lunch.
2. Nasi goreng (Fried rice)
We have maaaany types of nasi goreng. But these are the most common.
Nasi goreng biasa- a plain fried rice.
Nasi goreng kampung- consist of long beans, chillis, water convolvulus and dried anchovies
Nasi goreng cina- usually contains green beans, carrot, chicken, scrambled egg.
Nasi goreng pattaya- fried rice wrapped in egg and topped with chili sauce
炒饭(Nasi Goreng):
3. Nasi ayam (Hainanese chicken rice)
The dish is served with a dipping sauce of freshly minced red chilli and garlic, usually accompanied with dark soy sauce and freshly ground ginger. Fresh cucumber boiled in the chicken broth and light soy sauce with a dash of sesame oil are served with the chicken, which is usually served at room temperature.
(Nasi Ayam):
DINNER
For dinner, us Malaysians mainly eat rice with dishes, just like our lunch. We cOuLdN’t LiVe wItHoUt RiCe.

Oh let's see! I'm pashtun from Bannu Pakistan. There are seven people in my family right now because three brothers are in Malaysia with families.What do we eat on daily basis are following.

Supper or you can call it dinner
My sister in law prepares chicken or sometimes asparagus but always chicken.

In Australia, a lot of Australians will eat Vegemite for breakfast on toast, (even as I write this I know I will get flack for saying this, yes there are other similar brands, but Vegemite is my favourite).
I like to have a cup of tea with mine and yes I have milk and sugar in my tea.
For lunch, as a kid I did have Vegemite sandwiches and yes we put margarine and Vegemite on bread and that was lunch. These days I will usually, as typical as it seems enjoy a meat pie.
I usually go to the local bakery as they have lamingtons and vanilla slice, if you have not tried these you have to. Below is lamingtons
Vanilla Slice
For dinner we usually will have lamb, as we have a lot of sheep, and my favourite is Lamb Cutlets crumbed with mash potatoes and peas.
Something I could never eat, but many Australians love is Lambs Fry and Bacon (Uck, just thinking of it makes me cringe the last time I ate it was over 20 years ago and I still cringe.)
Which is basically lamb liver in a brown gravy with onions. I could never get passed the liver taste, and it was very salty.
And for dessert I love Pavlova. (by the way Australia first made it, the Kiwis just say they did….. lol)
Hope this helps you learn more about the best country in the world, and what they eat, some days.
I want to also add the following,
We love to eat hamburgers, and my favourite is a hamburger with the lot, which consists of meat, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, tomato sauce (ketchup), cheese, beetroot, pineapple, bacon and egg. This is good when you want to go to the beach or just have something on Friday night late.
This is best eaten with chips and a coke.
Another great meal is Fish and Chips, battered fish and thick cut chips.
Also, another meal we have is the teas, afternoon tea and morning tea. Nothing tops a great cuppa, tea or coffee and a Tim Tam, now the best way to eat a Tim Tam is to shot gun it. Simply put you bit each end of the biscuit (cookie), dip one end of the biscuit in the liquid and suck the hot drink through like a straw. As soon as the liquid hits your tongue, put the whole thing in your mouth, DO NOT BITE until the whole thing is in your mouth, it will explode on you, well down your shirt.
Latai Kaihea
In Tonga, these are the main foods people eat on a daily basis, given that it can vary.
For breakfast, it’s usually some of the following;
Fresh bread and yellow buns from the local bakery with some New Zealand salted butter. Maybe some eggs on top or a spread like jam, or avocado.
La’i keke vai (fried pancakes)
It’s just plain flour, water and maybe some sugar (sometimes mashed ripe bananas are added too for a banana version) mixed together and ladled onto a frying pan to shallow fry until nice and crispy but not too cooked on the inside. Topped with some jam or butter or honey, Nutella.. whatever condiments and spreads you like. It’s usual sweet spreads though.
With the mashed bananas added
La’i keke vai(煎薄饼):
Keke ‘Isite (Literal translation: Yeast Cakes)
These are similar to doughnuts but not really. The name comes from the fact that unlike the la’i keke vai, this one has yeast added to it. It’s deep fried in round shapes and can be plain or have mashed bananas added to the batter. It is usually eaten plain or pulled apart in half and spread with jam, honey, butter or Nutella, anything you like really.
Keke ‘Isite(酵母蛋糕):
Topai
This is one of my favourite comfort food breakfasts that my grandmother used to make in the mornings. It’s essentially dumplings (flour & water) in sweet coconut milk (fresh coconut milk, sugar, lemongrass or lemon/lime leaves thrown in for infusion and fragrance). Sometimes young coconut pulp or desiccated mature coconut is added as well for texture and flavour.
Topai(椰奶面疙瘩):
Fruits
There is such a vast variety of fruits growing on the island that the choices are endless. Our home had so many fruit trees that it became a common breakfast or snack to have and easily picked off the trees when ripe. From bananas, to papaya, watermelon, pineapples, mangoes, guava, tava (lychee) etc.. I will try and include some photos below and name them
And then you have your standard tropical fruits like I mentioned earlier; mangoes, watermelon, guava, oranges etc.
Lunch
Usually lunch depends on if at home or at work during the week. Sometimes it’s a hot lunch, sometimes it’s just a loaf of bread pulled apart and sandwiched with corned beef and tomatoes or any other filling. Or leftovers from dinner.
However if it’s a Sunday lunch.. that’s a different story. Sunday lunches are a big thing. Since Tonga is a predominately Christian island. Everything is closed on sundays. Yes, everything except the hospital. Everything. It is observed as a sacred day for prayer and rest.
So people wake up early in the morning and start preparing lunch and put it in the underground earth oven (‘umu) to cook slowly for a few hours and then they get ready for church. Once church is finished, everyone goes home and gets changed and then have a big lunch.
The preparing includes the root vegetables: Taro, cassava, sweet potatoes, breadfruit, yams, green bananas. They are peeled, washed and wrapped in bananas leaves or foil.What it looks like when it’s ready.
Lū is another dish cook in the ‘umu. It is Taro leaves layered and fanned out, filling can be meat or seafood (lamb, pork, corned beef, chicken, fish, shellfish), topped with diced onions and salt, finished with a cup or so of coconut milk (depending on size) then wrapped up and covered in banana leaf or foil.layering with stones and coconut shells plus other materials to keep the heat in before covered with wool blanket, sheet of tin etc and weighted down with more rocks.The men usually do all this cooking and prepping. Women help by chopping vegetables etc inside
Other side dishes include:
’Ota Ika (Raw Fish Salad)
It is similar to ceviche. Fresh raw fish cut into cubes cured in lemon or lime juice, finely diced tomatoes, onions, chives, chillies, fresh coconut milk, salt. Some people like to oversimplify it by adding extra vegetables but I find it ruins the simplicity of the dish. If you want extra vegetables, eat a salad on the side, don’t add it to the dish!
Kaloa’a (clam?) and Mussels
These are cooked in a pot with coconut milk, onions, salt, chilli, and sometimes curry powders. It’s a very simple dish (most Tongan food are very simple to cook but flavours are incredible!). The broth is amazing on its own, slurped up
Potato Salad
Potatoes, eggs, whole egg mayonnaise, chives, salt and pepper. Simple and can’t go wrong. It has to be whole egg mayonnaise though (S&W, Best Foods Or Hellman’s), or it doesn’t taste right. It’s rich and creamy and naughty but oh so tasty. Similar to photo below but with chives scattered throughout
Sapasui (Chop Suey)
Vermicelli noodles with chicken, pork or beef strips, carrots, beans and/capsicum cooked in garlic,onion,ginger and soy sauce. An adaptation most likely from Asian influences. Not sure how it became a common Tongan dish. Nevertheless, it’s often a side dish on a Sunday lunch
And occasionally, the most favourite of all.. Slow Roasted Puaka Tunu (Roast suckling Pig!) crispy skin, melt in your mouth soft meat, smoky flavour mmm. We are definitely not vegans or vegetarians
Dinner
Is usually root vegetables (Taro, yams, cassava, green bananas, sweet potato, Kape or breadfruits) boiled in coconut milk and eaten alongside a main dish.
La’i Pele Pulumasima (Pele leaves (similar to silverbeet leaves?) with meat and onions cooked in coconut milk)
Curry
We have our own version of curry which is sometimes a dry curry. We don’t add any coconut milk (a rarity since most of our food is drenched in coconut milk haha). We use chicken or lamb mostly, cooked with garlic, onions, chilli, Fijian curry powder (the one most often used), chilli powder. Carrots and beans (sometimes diced potatoes) added to it. Eaten with cassava or any root vegetables (standard) or rice.
Soups
Different kinds of soups. Chicken noodle soup, oxtail soup, beef and beef bones soup, chicken soup etc all cooked in differently ways depending on what kind of ingredients is on hand. But the concept is the same, boil meat slowly until tender, add vegetables (whatever is at home), simmer, add seasonings/spices (salt, pepper, chillies, herbs, stock powder etc) and eaten with root vegetables
Fish and seafood - Fried, Grilled, Simmered in coconut milk broth, Raw
Cooked in different methods, seafood is plentiful.
People don’t eat seafood like this every day, unless someone in the family is a fisherman. When I was growing up, we had seafood often. My grandfather and uncle owned a boat and would go fishing regularly. My grandmother and her best friend would also go to the reef when the tide was low and came back with so much shellfish and other seafood. We would eat it raw which it was still fresh or grill it on the open woodfire. The rest would be cooked in various dishes. I was told that as a baby I often sucked on a octopus leg to strengthen my teeth and gums.
Dessert
Faikakai (Coconut Caramel Dumplings):Dumpling made out of different ingredients: tapioca, Taro leaves or flour. Then cut into small sizes or balls and drenched in caramel coconut sauce
‘Otai:Like a fruit punch. Tropical fruits grated and mixed with coconut milk and sugar and sometimes grated coconut too. My favourite is Mango ‘otai but there’s also watermelon, watermelon and pineapple, mango and apple. You can be as adventurous as you like but the ones listen are the most common. It’s perfect on a hot summer day and at any time of the day. I like mine as a snack too with breakfast crackers dunk in until it’s soft.
d of this beautiful tiny little island. Our food may be simple to prepare and we may not use as much spices as some do but it still packs an incredible punch on flavour. We wouldn’t dare eat bland food ;)
Faikakai(椰奶焦糖 dumplings):用木薯、芋头叶或面粉做成小团子,浸泡在椰奶焦糖酱里。

I live in Hawaii, USA, a small chain of islands in the mid Pacific.
Hawaii is the 50th state in our unx, but it has a personality far removed from the other 49. Our state is a melting pot of Pacific Islanders, Asians of every nationality, Portuguese, Mexicans, and other immigrants, like me. Add to that the tourist trade, mostly from Asia, and you get a food culture that blends styles and cuisines without a second thought.Now you can get anything you want to eat in Hawaii, but I will highlight some local specialties that everyone enjoys.
The Loco Moco
The Loco Moco, a scoop of rice topped by a hamburger patty, brown gravy and a fried egg, is a popular breakfast or lunch on every island.
Loco Moco(洛科莫科饭):
The Local Breakfast Plate
Hawaii’s answer to the Full English, the Local Breakfast Plate is eggs, Portuguese sausage, and two scoops of rice. Spam or bacon can be substituted for the sausage, but that rarely happens. Usually they accompany the sausage. Toast is available, but as an extra, it never comes with the meal. No one eats toast in Hawaii.
The Plate Lunch
The Plate Lunch can be any one of a number of proteins: Katsu Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Teriyaki Beef, Hamburger Steak with Gravy, Fried Chicken, Fried Fish, Kalbi Short Ribs, or Garlic Shrimp served with two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. This meal is hugely popular here and you can find a restaurant that serves them on almost every block. Any restaurant that calls itself a Drive Inn or BBQ will specialize in plate lunches.
(Plate Lunch):
Poke
Poke, pronounced poe-kay, not poke, is another popular local dish. Every grocery store has a fresh poke section in their deli which serves up a variety of creations. You can buy poke marinated in a myriad of sauces and feature a variety of seafoods. Ahi is by far the most popular, but any fish suitable for sashimi can be had as well as octopus (tako poke) and mussels.
Poke(波奇):
Huli Huli Chicken
Huli huli chicken is the Hawaiian version of teriyaki. Huli huli chicken includes pineapple juice in the marinade, which is never included in real Japanese teriyaki, and is best prepared on a grill.
Huli Huli
Hawaiian Fried Rice
Hawaiian style fried rice is Chinese fried rice, plus. In typical Hawaiian style, fried rice is taken over the top by the addition of as many meats as you can stuff into it. Spam, Portuguese sausage, bacon, char siu pork, lop chong, and ham are all welcome. You can add all of them to the same pot of fired rice if you like.
Malasadas
Malasadas are a Portuguese contribution to Hawaiian cuisine. Fried sweet bread dough gets dusted in sugar, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar or filled with jellies or custards. Malasadas are cooked to order and served hot. Unlike mainland doughnuts, once malasadas get cold, don’t even bother.
Malasadas(马拉萨达):

ARMENIA:In Armenia we don’t have a strict set of things that we eat. Our cuisine is also not specifically bound to breakfast/lunch/dinner, we eat what we want whenever we want. If you want to eat breakfast for lunch go for it. These are just some things I often eat:
Breakfast:
During breakfast people in Armenia will eat a variety of things, but on the breakfast table there will always be fresh cut vegetables, herbs, lavash flatbread, local cheese, Armenian yogurt (matzoon), and sujuk (dry meat). Some dishes include but are not limited to:
Spas: cold soup made from matzoon (Armenian yogurt), cracked wheat, and many herbs. Usually eaten in the summer.
Spas:
Harissa (Armenian chicken porridge) made from cracked wheat and chicken. Topped with butter.
On cold winter mornings, especially on hangovers, we like to eat this while downing shots of vodka:
Khash: is a soup made from cow hoofs that are boiled all night. It must be eaten with your hands by putting so much lavash flatbread inside that it solidifies.
Coffee break:
Armenian coffee — we drink unfiltered coffee that is made by putting ultra fine coffee powder into a jazve (coffee pot) and traditionally it is made by putting it in hot sand until it boils. This is literally the same thing as Arabic, Turkish, or Syrian coffee, we just all like to call it as our own.
Lunch + Dinner:
Lunch and dinner can pretty much be the same thing, but the dishes are often unique
Sevan Ishkhan: Sevan trout is a fish that is native to and exists only in Armenia in lake Sevan. It is usually barbecued or broiled and served with wine, potatoes, and lemon. We have a lot of fish dishes for a landlocked country.
Tolma: Grape leaves stuffed with ground meat, rice, and herbs from the mountains. A dozen or so cultures have the same dish prepared slightly differently, but obviously Armenians make it the best.
Tjvjik: fried beef liver with onions (and other vegetables)
Khashlama: beef stew made with potatoes and vegetables. There are many variants to this dish.
Khorovats: Any skewered meat that is barbecued. Very simple and delicious. The most popular in Armenia is lamb and pork.
Sevan Ishkhan:
Tjvjik:
Khashlama:
Khorovats:
Street Food:
Zhingyalov Hats: is an Armenian flatbread from fhe region of Artsakh filled with many types of greens that are traditionally picked from the mountains.
Lahmajo: aka Armenian pizza is thin dough with ground meat, herbs, and tomatoes. Often eaten with some lemon. It’s good as hell.
There are a lot more foods but these are just some of many.
Zhingyalov Hats:
