Indian netizens can yake at SG for also playing 2-faces but the fact is US had approved and sold F-35 to SG in 2020. SG has been in the F35 program since 2003. B series of F-35 will be delivered in 2028. Netizens can laugh at the tiny island SG on its space constraint to even train its fighter pilots. The fact is the F-35s training for SG fighter pilots will be based in US. The planes are parked in undisclosed locations outside SG. If a war really breakout, it only takes minutes for these fighter planes to supersonic back to SG.

In boaster & braggers mind, it does not matter if 2 or 3 squadrons of F35 are sufficient or not. Most importantly is to be known as the few Asian nation to be granted the "privilege" to host them, even at a high & unsustainable cost. It just fit their profile perfectly.

It's not that it can't save India, the fact India have to buy more than a few hundred to make a different,but India can't afford that it would break the Indian economy especially with the weapons that would need to comes with it. ��

F35 is expensive to buy & maintain. Supply chain is dodgy. Much better to develop drones of its own & hold off war. It needs a much bigger economy to justify such advanced weapon systems and lose its sovereign autonomy at the same time. Mad even having to think about it.

you better cross your finger. US themself don't have enough F35 due to a lot of them are grounded. You expect them to ship you even one? Even 1 F35 could not change the result if India has conflict with Pakistan

Modi didn't intended to buy the F35 by was coerced by trump. Because, india export more than than import from u.s. Modi last ordered of the u.s Hawk heliports few years ago. But, haven't completely delivered all its ordered. Maybe, might have 1 or 2 f35 after 2030.

If Modi is patriotic he should focus on uplifting the living standard of India. Spending huge sum of money to buy advanced military planes will just make weapons manufacturers rich. Same applies to Pakistan. If India and Pakistan want to be close friends/ foes there are plenty of reasons. Choice is with them. Can these backward countries learn from Europe how to get united for common goal? I am more convinced they are more eager to exacerbate their enmity for common loss/ destruction.

Hunzi challange u On what basis do u claim that Chinese tech is ahead of India. Point 1 Chinese tech exports in 2024 were 432 billion dollars while. India was 386 billion to be precise but indias tech service exports growing at double digit as several GCC global capability centers opening . And there is no doubt that in 3 to 4 yrs indias tech and service exports will outpace Chinas. U have no idea gow many Global capability centers are opening in India last week Lufthansa set up 3000 strength GCC. There is not much differnece between Chinas and indias service exports while india is fara far behind when it comes to manufacturing but tech and service we are neck and neck. Please note apart from Indian tech India iniresctly control and manage us tech with Microsoft Goovle alone tunrover bigger than Tencent alibaba combined. U r factually wrong Hunzi

Russian weapons like jets might be a little backwards in tech compared to Western and Chinese planes but they are very durable. It's said that US jets need smooth runways to take off but Russian ones can take off from rough runways and roads. They're built for rough usage. When it comes to stealth tech the su-57 is very agile and acrobatic but not much stealth ability. Even if you have a fully stealth plane shape it's not good enough because the skins need highly advanced meta materials that can absorb and adjust to various electronic energies to remain stealth. I've read that only China and the US has such meta materials technology. Not Russian, not Turkey, not Korean's new stealth fighters none of those countries can have these advanced meta material skins. If India gets the f-35 I really want to see how they can maintain them. I think it will be another comedy show. ��
