Even if true Israel have f-35s.. the j-10 cannot attack the Israel f-35s because you need anti stealth radars. Even if the missiles are longer range you still have to be able to lock the plane from a very long distance. I think the Israel models of f-35 have the highest model and specs, and they'll have the full maintenance and support systems like awacs and US systems guidance. Only if the j-10 is run by China with full Chinese anti stealth radars can guide missiles to lock and hit a full functioning f-35. Nobody else will have the necessary support systems to do so. The j10s can still put up a good fight against older non stealth planes and ground attacks though. Against a fully spec fully supported F35 there's little chance.

I don't think China would ever want to invade India, not because China is scare of losing but it would need to build millions of toilets and infrastructure, high speed railway etc for India. Why waste these kind of money when it could better spend on improving its own citizens living of standard. �� Foreigners have note that whatever projects they build or invest, the Indian would proudly claim themselves the credits that they contribute greatly to those projects. If China help India build millions of toilets, the India may claim they are the one that allow it and all credits go to them. ��

Mr. Hunzi. I think you are doing a little mistake regarding F-35 being combat tested fighter. No, F-35 ain't combat tested at all so far. It is used by Israel against the ground targets which could not hit back like civilian buildings in Gaza and Syria. US used it in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Yemen and non of the opponent had any counter measures to hit back. Thus, there was no combat but one sided attacks. I will call it "attack-tested fighter" or something similar.

@didierduplantier8359 Yes, the Israeli AF did fly their F-35s close to the border of Iran. HOWEVER, once the Iranian radars successfully locked onto the Israeli F-35s, the Israelis were in shock and immediately cancelled that part of the attack. The F-35s immediately turned around and flew home. They ran scared because the F-35s are very expensive, not very maneuvarable (US figther pilots call F-35s "FAT AMY") and had a real chance of being shot down by Iranian S-400, S-300 missiles and even Iran's indigenously produced SA missiles. F-35s shot down over Iran would have been severly embarassing to the Israelis and the Americans and would have done severe damage to the F-35s' reputation. Not worth taking the risk.

@MaboloLibwese Many of the copies of Russian or American weapons are old models and either they have been substantially improved with indigenous upgrades or are indigenously designed by China as new weapons. Simple, poor copies of US and Russian weapons are from decades ago. This is in line with China's rise as a technological and manufacturing superpower. What you are claiming is very old news.

The military components used in the radar, the fighter jets and missiles are manufactured in China. F35 is a very expensive fighter jet and its maintenance is also expensive. These jets were developed in the 1960s & the 70s. Since then nothing much has changed except the radar and the stealth materials or coating, radar, and pilot helmet with 360 degree view with improved night vision & multiple targeting..
If india even wants to project power then it has to buy at least 70 of these f35. Even then these will be export version which are below standards.. In recent years there have been lots of accidents of f 35 jets, due to restrictions of material supply to usa from China.. and f 35 is not a very good fighter jet which usa promotes all the times.... In the year 1995 we use to play the JSF game on my computer at home .. The point is the f 35 will bring political win for modi and nothing much in india because most of the indians don't know anything... We indians can't even put the f 35 on our aircraft carrier... China has the technology to detect and bring down these stupid jets.. and our indian people have a reputation of poor maintenance, incompetent labour, corruption... We have a world record for accidents.... trains derailing, aircraft crashing, recently a friget sunk... We are fed up with this crap... No respect...
