All these years, india was making slow speed trains, for which cast wheels were being used. We have sufficient manufacturing capacity for cast wheels. Now medium speed and high speed trains are being produced, for which forged wheels are required and production is being arranged. By end 2026 we will have sufficient capacity , for exports also. As a stop gap arrangement, orders were placed on Ukraine and Russia. But due to the ongoing war , supplies have been delayed. As a stop gap arrangement orders have been placed on China. There will be no permanent reliance on foreign suppliers. To condemn India as being a Non entity, is not correct.

Untuk produksi roda kereta cepat, India harus berusaha terus swa sembada. Mulailah dgn roda kereta api biasa, lalu kereta api kecepatan sedang. Indonesia juga. Kereta cepat perlu investasi mahal juga biaya operasional dan pemeliharaan mahal. Mulailah produksi kereta api kecepatan menengah sekitar 100-120 km/jam, itu untuk ganti kereta kuno. Jaringan rel juga perlu diganti/diperbaiki bertahap dalam 5 tahun. Kereta kecepatan 100 km/jam masih cukup memenuhi kebutuhan rata2 masyarakat menengah bawah.
 
为了生产高铁车轮，印度必须持续努力实现自给自足。从普通火车车轮开始，再到中速火车车轮。印尼也是如此。高铁需要巨额投资，运营和维护成本也很高。应该先生产时速100-120公里的中速火车，替换老旧的火车。铁路网络也需要在5年内逐步更换或修复。时速100公里的火车仍能满足中下阶层的普通需求。

@AttaBoy-f3h Singapore has mass imported blue collar Indian workers in construction (replacing Thai workers granting jobs to Indians which I believe is on the basis of CECA treaty. This is insane mistake because Thai workers are so much more hardworking, better quality and productivity which will bring lower costs to construction), shipbuilding, oil refinery plants, manufacturing, delivery, cleaners, etc. The Indian blue collar worker population is few times the size of Indian professionals.

China also has many gods from the past. Some are even from India - eg Devarajas and Hanuman. But do Chinese really believe in them? No. These are just cultural heritage now.
