This robot has impressive movement and flexibility, but it’s all pre-programmed.. probably won’t be for another 10 to 20 years until we see a proper robot that has the reaction time of a human and can react to real world random scenarios like catching a baseball or avoiding a puddle last minute walking down the street

We are still a ways out from these robots being able to generally take over factory jobs... but the day is coming. Fortunately, China will need hundreds of millions of these robots just to replace its workforce, and similarly, hundreds of millions more would have to be made to replace workers elsewhere (such as the US). This will take at LEAST a decade before it starts making a serious dent in our labor... remember, new factories will have to be spun up to make these robots, new supply chains and who knows what else to create a robotic workforce at the scale needed.

Dance is for fun, and it is rather pointless then it do it without load, what we want to see in a robot is it doing same moves military do on training courses, wear 30 Kg and run, climb a rope over water, climb a ladder and bull a weight 3 times heavier then it is. Or at least show if it can navigate a normal household (not super flat and clean floors), show that it can clean up a random mess or roll up a carpet before it mop a room.
