The subtropical forests are filled with wild animals and bizarre vegetations. most of the time century egg and salted duck egg are never eaten raw. century egg are cooked eaten porridge or various vegetable. the salted duck egg yolk are usually fried together with shrimps and its very delicious.
the alcohol culture is always crazy in China, people drink heavily and its always social events. they also pickled everything, try to find pickled pig trotters if you can.
chewing on raw Sichuan peppercorn is almost a prank, your mouth will be numb and tingly for at least a day after eating that raw.
overall Chinese countryside are nice, people dont have much but they are happy, they drink because there is almost nothing to do, preserve and eat unusual things to utilize and save anything they have their hands on.
 
其实大部分时间里，变蛋和咸鸭蛋从来不会直接生吃。变蛋被煮成粥，或各种蔬菜食用，咸鸭蛋黄则通常和虾一起油炸，非常美味。

go for the Chinese kfc crispy burger, its so fresh and tasty. Drink also some fresh lemon drink for vitamine c boost. try to eat more fruit, there is enough big grocery stores that sell banana's and oranges, as a foreigner your body need to adjust slowly to the Chinese food, but at the same you have to eat something similar back from home.
