Can Donald Trump become UK prime minister? As far as I understand his mother was British, so can he apply for UK citizenship and become prime minister?

Citizenship doesn't matter. Boris Johnson was born in the US. David Lloyd George was Welsh (shocking, I know) and Tony Blair was Catholic!
Yes, I'm being silly… but the fact is, we don't have anything constitutional limits on Citizenship for political office.
We even had some women and people of colour in the top job. More radically we've had actual commoners, real non nobility in charge. PMs of the past, all those Lords and Sirs, would have dropped their monocles in shock at the thought.
Seriously, its not his American Citizenship that would be a barrier. It's the fact he would need to lead a party that had the numbers to claim enough seats in Parliament to gain a Majority. Its hard to do that on money and personality alone. Especially as there are strict rules on campaign donations and Trump has a personality many Brits want to punch.
Farage, our New Trump Lite, is making political waves and has support among some sections of the population. However, hes still only head of a small party that can only realistically gain power in a coalition where Farage would have to play second fiddle to (likely) a Tory PM. In the last election Reform gained one seat in the commons, which is their best performance yet, but is hardly at the level of Kingmaker. They gained one council (apparently not expecting to win…) and haven't been getting good press for their work there.
That's likely where Trump would sit. At best the leader of a small party with maybe one or two seats. And to achieve that, he'd have to work hard. Actually work not just say he's working and play golf all day. And all for a salary I suspect he wouldn't even use to wipe his arse and a lot stricter restrictions on outside activities like owning companies or taking bribes.

If he renounced his American citizenship and became leader of a British political party, by some miracle, then ran for Prime Minister. Not a chance in Hell, he would be the first candidate in living history to be laughed out of Parliament.
We have watched him cause chaos with wide eyed amazement over the last few months, as he’s driven the American economy into the ground and threatened to destabilise the world’s trade markets. So no he would NEVER be Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. We like order here, even if our current PM is a lying, two faced cock. It’s what we’re stuck with, even if I didn’t vote for it. But at least nobody’s laughing at us.

Your question shows an ignorance of politics outside the US.
While technically Mr Tangerine Man could gain citizenship of the UK - I imagine that he would have to live there first for a period of time first - he would need to find a party to accept him, and an electorate to accept him as a normal Member of Parliament. Then he would need to rise through the party to become leader. THEN, that party would need to win the election. Only then, might he become the PM - in 10–15 years after being chosen by a group of ordinary voters in a particular electorate. Add that to the 3–5 years to gain citizenship.
He is already too old to be in the office he currently holds.

No. The UK has a parliamentary system, not a presidential one. You don't “run for PM”.
To be prime minister, you need to be the head of the party that gets the most parliamentary seats.
To even have a remote chance to become PM, Trump would need to join, or found, a party capable of winning a majority in the parliament (forget founding a new party, the British electoral system also favours bipartisanism).
Trump is very old, knows very little about Britain, and is considered by most British people of all political persuasions as a despicable idiot.
Even if Trump were to get British citizenship and join the Tory party (his most realistic option because there's no way Labour would let him join) he'd be dead of old age long before he'd worked his way up through the party ranks sufficiently to run to lead the party!

I almost pissed myself laughing. Do you know what is the procedure for becoming a British PM? There's no Electoral College, Bubba, and the number of the uneducated and the gullible is much lower than in the US of A. He wouldn't even make it into the Parliament.

Without going into too much detail, our more advanced and sophisticated system of democracy tends to eliminate such utterly moronic fools as dementia raddled, daiper Don from becoming the leader of a major political part that would need to win a general election in order to become Prime minister.
Witnessing the chaotic and disastrous mess across the increasingly diss-United States of America caused by the election of a convicted criminal with a record of insurrection, corruption, child abuse and fraud would make his ongoing continuity as tyrant prince of America doubtful and election elsewhere ridiculous.

No. Well, hypothetically he could move to the UK, live here for five years, apply for British citizenship (his mother is not relevant here), join a political party that has a reasonable chance of winning enough seats to form a government, get elected as a Member of Parliament and eventually become the leader of that party which would mean that if that party is in government he would be Prime Minister.
But apart from the fact that it would take more years than Trump is likely to live, there is no way Trump would ever be elected to anything here, so it would not happen.
Then there are his criminal convictions. He wouldn't be allowed to live here, let alone stand for Parliament.
John Hudson
Do you really imagine becoming PM, is as easy as becoming the POTUS? Having huge amounts of money does not guarantee it. First thing they have to be elected as an MP, not likely for Trump. Then they need to be chosen as the leader of a political party, that has enough seats to form a Government. Any party that took him on, as leader, would never get enough seats to form a Government, the elctorate would see to that.

Can the most despised piece of shit American become the British PM? If he were to renounce his USA citizenship, become leader of a political party and be elected, sure. Would this ever happen? Not a snowballs chance in hell.

The short answer is no he can’t. I will, however, give a longer answer.
Trump’s mother being British does not entitle him to British citizenship, but if he were to move to Britain permanently then he could apply for citizenship after five years, having first secured Indefinite Leave to Remain.
Once he has citizenship he would be eligible to stand for election to Parliament. He would need to be sexted by a Political Party as their candidate. The parties each have their own rules for sexting candidates, and most candidate have a long history of activism within the party, although this is not always essential if a candidate has a high profile already, which Trump obviously does. The question then would be how likely is it that he would win if sexted? Much would depend on the seat of course, but in general Trump does not come across as the sort of person who is popular with British voters. Even if we overlook his inability to string a coherent sentence together, he is brash and overbearing in a way that often rankles in Britain. He also comes across as a bully, and his misogyny and racism will find him few political allies in mainstream politics.
Even if he does get himself elected to Parliament, he would still need to become party leader in order to have any chance at all of becoming PM. He would first need to wait for there to be a vacancy, and there is no telling how long he would have o wait for that. It is unlikely that he would be seriously considered as a candidate without at least some font bench experience, so not until he had been in Parliament for several years. The fat of his having been President of the USA might help him, but as the job bears so little resemblance to anything in British politics, it is more likely to be a hindrance.
If he does become Party Leader then he only become PM if that party has a majority of the seats in the house of Commons, or if it is the largest party in a coalition.
So, in theory it would be possible for Trump to became a British citizen and rise through the ranks to become Prime Minister, but the odds would be stacked against him even if he wasn’t already 78 years old and facing a process that would take at least a decade, and more likely two. AS he has four years ahead of him as US President, and obviously can’t apply for British citizenship while he is in that role, he would not be able to begin the process until he is 82, would be 87 before even being eligible to stand for Parliament and there is simply no likelihood of somebody that old becoming Party Leader, and very little chance of them being sexted as a Parliamentary candidate as there is no guarantee that they would live long enough to actually be elected.
