You probably don't know that the J20 has developed multiple variants. The latest model is the J20S, which is the only dual-seat fifth-generation fighter aircraft in the world. So, what do you think? When one pilot is in charge of operating the aircraft, what is the purpose of the other pilot? It can't possibly be an intern pilot, right? They would have to be sitting in the back for training purposes.

The second pilot was specifically responsible for controlling. What was being controlled? At that time, it was the accompanying unmanned aircraft. Imagine this: beside a J20S, there were six unmanned aircraft. If an F22 or Su-57 saw this, wouldn't they feel hopeless? Multiple unmanned aircraft could advance forward, creating electromagnetic interference, attracting firepower, and guiding missiles. Maybe when the F22 was hit, the J20S had already flown 400 kilometers away.

“Jet fighter” is a generic term, when in fact these planes, all planes, are each built for a specific task.

The F-22 Raptor is a stealthy air-to-air superiority fighter. It is specifically designed to escort and provide protection for the F-35, also a purpose built plane, designed to be a stealthy bomb truck. Countries buying F-35’s are stuck with a plane only good for one thing, to deliver heavy ordinance to the enemy. Stealth is its only redeeming feature. The US won't export the F-22.

The SU-57 is a multi-role stealthy air superiority fighter and ordinance delivery system. It adds about five feet to the F-22 and is about five feet short of a J-20. It also has a much greater combat range than the F-22, comparable to the J-20's.

Of all the given aircraft I personally feel the F22 is superior but all I can say is that we cant tell which one is superior until they get into actual combat with each other. I can predict that the F22 would win though. To compare them all I will do so without letting opinion cloud my judgement. the SU57 development began in 2001, the J20 development started in 2008 and the F22 program started in the 1980s and was put into service in 2003. All three aircraft are meant to be the culmination of all the technology that each respective country has for air superiority and other tasks. The SU57 was first introduced in 2020 and the J20 was introduced in 2016. The f22 has had more service time and upxes while the J20 and SU57 haven’t been upxed yet since the management of those programs doesnt have the funds nor the consideration that upxes are necessary to keep an edge. The f22 and j20 are oriented around air superiority while the SU57 is more multi-role and because of this isnt as capable at air to air so that it can accommodate more functions. The J20 likely could contend very well against the F22 but since the capabilities of all three aircraft are currently unknown there is no way to effectively determine the best one.

There are a few things to consider here.

1.The Su-57 has not entered mass production there are approximately. 19 Airfrx for testing purposes. The J-20 and F-22 went to production.

2.The F-22 has superior stealth abilities to both aircraft it's being compared to. The SU-57 is about as stealthy as an F-18 hornet and the J-20 lags behind the F-22 significantly.

While the J-20 is a far “newer” aircraft, it doesn’t have anything on the Raptor.

The J-20 was pretty much the first fully domestically developed jet in modern times. All other jets have been “modded” and reverse engineered airfrxs from other origins (mostly Russia - but the J-10 seems to be very much a modified Lavii).
