My bag was stolen at Barcelona airport in the terminal. We caught the guy, his accomplice got away. It took 20 minutes for the police to arrive ( in an international airport terminal!).
She was trying to spend money using my 3 credit cards, all of which I had blocked immediately. So I could show the police exactly where they were in the city.. down to the shop name. But they would not sent anyone to the area or get the street cameras checked, it was a bright yellow handbag so very noticible!.
That episode cost us £2000 as we had to wait for new emergency passports, buy new plane tickets, get new prescxtion glasses.
And I bet the Albanian team are still stealing the airport terminals…
