Usually, what I see in the news is just that a rocket has been successfully launched, followed by a brief overview of the scientific research obxtives of this rocket launch. Our country is really very low - key.

As an engineer I know that fluid dynamics are tricky for liquids, gaseous fluids add an extra step of complexity. I can imagine that in a space without gravity it puts another layer on these analyses. My SolidWorks Flow-Simulation has already problems with very mondain problems where a gaseous fluid has solid particles in it, like dust. We have to admire the studies they are doing up there..

formal: 宇航員 - yu han yuan - universe sailer
colloquial: 太空人 - tai kon ren - space man/men

· Combating desertification
· Helping the third world develop
Like damn, isn’t this what the leader nation of the world should be doing? Not to get too political but meanwhile the US is:
· Cutting NASA’s funding
· Subsidizing a single billionaire’s companies on Space and electric vehicles (Elon Musk)
· Fear-mongering about nuclear for about 45 years now, pushing gas and coal as “patriotic?”
· Openly mocking and combating a Green transition
· Stifling public transportation
· Waging economic war on everyone else
· Instead of helping develop the third world, expends more time bullying and bombing
· And now is cracking down on their own citizens and deporting them elsewhere without due process like they fear monger China would behave lol
It’s like one is trying to lift humanity’s long term goals and the other is looking for a way to make everything worse.

What I like the Tiangong station is it's modular design which you can retire old modules and replace with new modules easily without too much manual work. Unlike IIS you can't replace the main frx since space shuttle retired. It can also keep expanding by add new modules.
