Great i apologise for your concern ….. However you can easily say these kind of words , let me tell you the answer in just few words .
If indians visit to another country , by student visa , work visa but especially tourist visa , it costs them so expensive like for Canada only for visa it costs literally around 25 lakh to 30 lakh and takes 1–2 years to be approved.
And bro india is a well developed country you cannot say any country that this country is poor or that , that's so rude of you ……next what I would like to tell why do you wants to visit India while india is a poor country??? Can you answer ??
For your kind information, that was Britain who robbered wealth of India in like trillion dollars ? Why don't we have debate about it …you know why it happened because indian people followed their religion in which they forgive others easily and if in fight the swords of enemies fall they would politely take it and give them back …
Back in times , india was called land of heaven , india is producing doctors and engineers in a high amount and sending them to other countries , you think if India itself stopped travelling of students to other countries then what will happen of all the countries., spices , grains ,etc. are imported from india .
India still follows that culture , though they don't give priority to money but respect , honour , etc.

As compared to Indian eVisa which is US$43/-, the Visa to China is over US$69/-. Visa fee is normally in keeping with the economic status of the visitor’s country, not the country he/she is visiting and also depends on the bilateral relationship between the two countries. It rarely is dependent on the destination country’s economic status, unless the destination country’s GDP is very dependent on tourism.
India is the world’s 5th biggest economy and tourism adds very little to the economy. It has a healthy manufacturing and Services sector, especially the IT sector and the financial sector. It has more to see, feel, eat and experience than any other country in the world because of the diversity in cultures, cuisines, religions and even geographical topography, all available in one nation. For a typical tourist, it may take upwards of one year of visiting unique places and experiences to just scratch its surface. India is not just Taj Mahal or Maharajas palaces.

Sagar is too much patriot. For me Thailand is much more interesting to visit than India. They ask a high visa price as the White section from Europe and America (especially the poor group) have a foolish idea to eat and lodge cheaply in India. It might be interesting for India to issue free transit visa for BD expats who can alternative options to return to Bangladesh through Delhi and Bombay.

China’s development may be your perception. India too is at the cutting edge of technology, except that we haven’t pirated US/European technology. China’s prosperity is only in its major cities, otherwise in many provinces, development has lagged behind.
Lastly, India is a vibrant Democracy, not a totalitarian regime country. People’s will is taken before their homes are razed to make way for development.
Please keep your distorted views to yourself. It says a lot about you when you take and compare a minor thing like visa fee to express your skewed thoughts.
By the way, unlike you who has never visited India, I have been to Mainland China many times (not just Hong Kong), including Beijing.
