Well there are too many people everywhere, problem is that there are too many criminals, mannerless, corrupt and unfriendly people. Pollution maybe yes. I wonder why people still live in Delhi if that's the case. Poverty could be anywhere, it's not that you become rich if you go abroad. Yea government and laws are truly shitty. Apart from all this. The overall quality of life might be better in most of the aspects abroad. But yea, that's it. Some people are just going abroad for the sake of flexing it that they don't live in India and this is due to the sheep culture.

Being a superpower is an entirely useless and irrelevant goal for most of us ordinary citizens. It's just a topic for nationalistic wanking for fools who think that they are "elites".
USA is a superpower. And yet, there's plenty of misery in that country. Hundreds of billions of tax dollars that should be going to make the lives or ordinary people there are basically burnt to finance external wars and their expensive military.
You know what countries are NOT superpowers? Switzerland. Singapore. Sweden. Norway. Germany.
If you are an ordinary citizen, you would actually want to live in a country that focuses on things that matter, while the hardworking citizens of the super-powers of the world spend their hard-earned money to give a semblance of stability globally.

If you judge a country by the numbers of its billionaires then ofcourse USA is a superpower, but if you judge a country by the number of its middle class citizens having good access to basic services like good roads, clean air, clean water, good medical access, stable jobs, youth employment, equal human rights for all, less crime, minimal homelessness, lesser drugs, minimal (or atleast unseen corruption) then there are countries in Europe and Asia that'd be considered superpower. India is a third world country. Accept it and live with it.

Also if you are a member of the LGBT community then you will ask for rights to live normally, you can't just marry GDP statistics and love happily.

Bhai I am in Germany, it's the strongest economy in Europe on papers, but idhar aake dekhenge toh Ander ka baat pata chalta hai. Maine jitna dekha hai us hisab se Bata du, toh Bavaria me richness dikhta hai, about infrastructure and good quality roads, transport etc. But baki jagah pe jao, especially those which were part of ex-west-germany toh gareebi dikhti hai infrastructure me. Trains pata nahi konse jamane ke puraane hai, Road ke repairing ke kaam yaha pe saalo saal chalte hai like India, Ill say India me jaldi kaam ho jaata hai than Germany. Railway system bakwas hai, trains hamesha late hote hai, kabhi kabhi beech se hi bol denge ke train ye do stations skip kar dengi, kabhi kabhi Jo end stop hota hai waha tak jaati hi nai hai, beech me se bol denge idhar se utar jao ab wagera wagera.
Toh ye jo tumne bola ki Germany superpower nai hai, ab woh kahi na kahi contradict karta hai kyu ki ye Europe ki strongest economy hai and word ki 3rd strongest, but ab ye cheez fir wahi USA wale example ki jaise contradict karti hai ki internal level pe Germany me bhi problem toh hai hi.

Well, Germany became 3rd strongest economy in the world, not because it grew & developed more, but because It's Japanese economy that got battered in early 2023 due to sudden Yen Duation against Dollar ( cuz American federal reserve increased interest rates & Bank of Japan refused to do so ). Japanese economy bled out nearly 600 billion dollars in just 4 months, making Germany the 3rd strongest economy in the world. And if you really think about it, these GDP figures don't actually matter. What actually matters is the value that's getting added into the economy ( through innovation in tech,marketing, finance etc, or lifting people out of poverty, making them a consumer ) & the circulation of money inside the country. India is just catching up with them in this regard & we are still miles behind.

You got to give it to US when it comes to thought leadership and progress. The largest companies in the world and the leading technology companies are invariably from US. More often than not, new ideas and experiments come from US. I believe a major advantage US has over rest of the world is the number of leading universities and educational institutions.

A quick google search reveals that the US spent 916 Billion in 2023 on defense. The total worldwide spending was 2400 Billion. Almost 40% of it was from US alone.

Personally speaking- There are a couple of things which makes India a difficult place to live nowadays:
We as a society have become Urban extremists. Have seen folks who are well educated but do speak a political tone especially when there are topics like religion, caste, etc.
The infrastructure has been developing (every one can see it) but at what cost? Quality is an aspect which we never speak about nor do we hold anyone accountable. The quality of the roads (we have relied on Bitumen whereas the world has moved towards Concrete) is alarming. One rainfall and the roads are doomed.
I won’t comment on crime as it is spread across countries but the one happening against women is alarming. We forget things pretty soon. Anyone remember what has happened so far in the Kolkata Rape case? The CM who is also the Home Affairs minister but has she resigned or does she have any remorse about the situation. I am not against one particular government but this case came to my mind while writing this point.
Cities have become a graveyard for accidents. Here is where civic sense and fear of law comes into picture. We all know to manage issues off the records which is a bad token for the judiciary(moral policing is a huge miss).
No one today is speaking about issues like unemployment, farmers and their crisis, inflation, the ever increasing population.
Overall, as we grow so will the country but there has to be a point where we should look back and see the points which could be addressed and improved for the future generations.

I got to observe this from one of the subs. Here’s what most of the high earning IT folks had to say about leaving the country:
Increased tax and yet no benefit: Even after paying a hefty tax, we are not getting a proper infrastructure here, let alone quality lifestyle. In other developed countries, this is not the case. Traffic, roads conditions sucks. A tax payer has to dodge potholes on the road. It gets worsened during the rain. Plus the traffic is unbearable in the cities.
