I don’t think China allows duel citizenship so he’d have to renounce his citizenship/passport. Usually people who relinquish citizenship can’t come back to the US, but maybe in his case they’d allow it someday if he didn’t like it there, mostly because it’s a free propaganda opportunity when someone famous wants to leave/defect/migrate etc.
