The man's name is Zhang Mingrong 张明荣 and the wife is Kong Yan 孔燕.Both of them are from rural families, and met in a factory in Qingdao (a major city). The man has 4 siblings and a mother who slipped and became disabled in the winter. The girl was raised by adoptive parents because her biological parents wanted a son (and could not keep her due to China's one-child policy). When they met, she already had a fiance arranged by her adoptive parents. So naturally the parents were very angry when they learned she wanted to be with him instead. He also took her to a different city (Tianjin), and the parents even called the police on him.After her disability, life was very hard for them in the beginning. He basically left his mother to his siblings, worked two jobs and slept on the floor. She didn't even have a wheelchair in the beginning. Later they opened a restaurant in Qingdao, where they still live. He first carried her up Mount Tai in 2017 but did not post videos on Douyin/Tiktok until 2021. They married in 2007 so it's been 15 years.
 
丈夫的名字叫张明荣，妻子叫孔燕。他们都来自农村家庭，在青岛的一家工厂相识。这男人家里有四个兄弟姐妹，他母亲在冬天滑倒后致残了，女孩则是由养父母抚养长大，因为她的亲生父母想要一个儿子。当他们相遇时，她的养父母已经给她安排了一位未婚夫。所以当养父母知道她想和他在一起时，自然很生气。当他戴着她去了另一座城市（天津）后，她的父母甚至报了警。在她残疾之后，他们刚开始的生活真的非常艰难。他将母亲托付给兄弟姐妹们照顾，自己则打着两份工，睡在地板上。她一开始甚至用不上轮椅。后来他们在青岛开了一家餐馆，他们现在依旧生活在那里。2017年，他第一次背着她登上了泰山，不过他们到了2021年才开始在抖音上发布视频。他们于2007年结婚，所以已经过去15年了。
