Here is why.I love how I can fit easily into the roles of a man and a woman both.I love how curvy my body is. I guess if i were a man i would have loved the muscles and all but this is something else. Like a sculpture. I love it.I love the fact that I can be a girly girl or a tom boy depending on my mood (and need of the hour ).
I love the attention i get from all the men and some women too.
I can wear so many different kinds of clothes and also a man’s attire and pull it off.Wear my hair in a thousand different ways.
I can wear heelsI can wear make up (yohooooo)
In today's age, where I live, we get equal opportunities for men and women. My dad is biased toward me over my brother
I like not having to deal like how men deal with each other (rough and tough, coarse language).I like the fact that I can cry and people won't judge me for it.I can behave cute and get away with it.I get to wear an amazing outfit and elaborate jewellery at my wedding.I can click as many pics as i want without being judged.
I love the fact that i am a care giver and nurturer and will happily play that role all my life.I love how kids warm up to me (motherly) and elderly people love to spend time with me (daughter like). Can also be true for men, the kind and empathetic ones.
That being said, it is difficult for women in some parts of the world and in some societies and cultures and I sure feel blessed to be born in the family and time i am born in.I hope and pray every woman one day enjoys and loves the experience of womanhood as much as i do and people the world over respect women for what they are and not solely for thr purpose of gender equality.

More than a little envious, I can’t lie! If there was a spell or magic button to press and have a go at being my equivalent female self, I would totally do it. No hesitation. For about a month, that is. Menstruation and childbirth would be enough to make me want to reverse the effect quickly XD
Given. If you were a woman i am guessing you would naturally be in acceptance of both menstruation and childbirth. But i guess we will never know. :)
You love being born beautiful not a woman. You love taking selfies, you love getting attention, you love the curves of your body, you love the fact that everyone likes to talk to you, you love tying hairs in different styles. Aren’t most of the points you mentioned emphasize more about you being gorgeous rather than a woman? Very rarely I have seen girls being beautiful and not flaunting it. Apologies to the BNBR policy.
Minor point, you’ll never know how many women are beautiful and not flaunting it. A lot of women on the internet don’t even show their faces. : )
I bet if she wasn’t as pretty and curvy, she wouldn’t enjoy it as much, because than you mostly get the negative sides of being a woman and don’t have the advantages of pretty women to counterbalance them.
A Big Yes !I consider myself to be lucky to be born as a ‘Female ‘ and especially in India. :)I am treated equally just like my brother by my Parents . Actually more than equal :pI am allowed to pursue any thing regarding my career. My family doesn’t have any problem , if I join Indian Defense Service.(that’s my dream)
As a girl , we have more options of outfits then men. :p
I am currently working and my parents don’t have any problem in taking money from me .I am going to be 24 now and my parents are OK with my decision of Marriage after 26 :)I am still weak at cooking and my father is like “ Arey sikh jaegi, thoda time dene ki jarurat hai “ ( don’t worry she will learn , she just need to give sometime ) . But yeah I can cook basic things for daily life.
8. My parents knows about my past relationships. yeah I have told them everything. They are that much frank .The only thing which I don’t like is I still cannot go outside after 9 or 10 Pm . its not because my parents are conservative . Its because Its not safe to roam in night being a girl. I completely understand the reason behind their ‘No’ .So ,Yeah I am a Proud Indian Girl . :)P.S :-Its my request to some boys please don’t comment anything regarding feminism or being feminist. Whatever I have mentioned is not about feminism or something.
Answered Sep 28, 2017
NO!!!!!!
I come from a heavily conservative ,Muslim family of a strong patriarchal nature.
I can't
Work
Pursue higher studies
Hang out with friends
post my pictures online (even pictures with hijab)
Talk to or befriend people of the opposite gender.
Go to places alone
Drive a vehicle
Argue with someone and make them understand that it's unfair to suppress me as though I'm a little, immature child.
And did I mention that a brother can freely do all of the above, with no obxtion from his parents????
On top of that, I am expected to show complete submission to my future husband. I'm expected to obey his every word, to let him have full authority over me.
Apparently, I carry my family's honour as well. If I'm seen talking to a guy, I'm characterless . My parents have failed to instill 'morals’ in me. I am a disgrace to them. Yadayadayada…. And a hoard of judgements and gossips will ensue.
So you see?
Just because of my gender, I am suppressed , discrimated against, 'kept under control’.
I'm a 21 year old girl with a fully functioning brain. I bet my IQ is also fine. I am capable and mature enough to do things independently. So why the hell should I depend on a man to make big decisions, on my behalf???
So all in all, I loathe being a woman!
And after learning about the injustice I face, you can't blame me, can you?

But Linda Sarsour said that Muslim women are the freeest women in the world! And Mohammed’s treatment of women was so advanced for seventh century Arabia.:-) He outlawed killing baby girls. Unfortunately for women, Islam hasn’t kept up with the times in many ways.It is a shame that Islam is so contemptuous of women. It seems as if the Muslim woman must constantly check her behavior to ensure that it is modest, unassuming, retiring and if at all possible, not even visible. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for a woman like you, who seems to have lots to contribute — if only you could.
As a young woman and a Muslim I feel sorry for you for having such injustice in your society. I know how upset it is to live in such conservative society where people assume women as inferior. However, your future is in your hands. If you have a chance to go abroad, then go. I support you to leave this behind and live your freedom life. I know it will be so so hard for you, but at last there is no other way except choosing the right path. Good luck, dear.

But these unfortunate circumstances are not really a consequence of being a woman, they are consequences of being Muslim. The part about your being a woman is still amazing. Your bright woman’s mind cannot be stopped from observing and questioning and thinking, your heart will still be caring and loving, your wonderful woman’s body will create new life. The other things are bad circumstances. I hope someday you will be able to travel. If you ever come to Paris, visit me….
They are consequences of being part of an extreme, patriarchal cultured family. This is not a Muslim thing, this is a cultural problem.
Yes, I do
#I love my body
There are a lot of things about being a woman that aren't very fun (periods, shaving, plucking, makeup etc). For some reason society expects a lot from women physically. There are always new fashions, trends, and pressures, and it can be exhausting.
I love wearing beautiful dresses and high heels.
A woman's body is INCREDIBLE. A woman has the physical capacity to create and sustain human life. How amazing is that? And, after conception, a woman carries and births a child and then creates means to nourish it. That is SO COOL!
#I love being a woman.
There has never been a better time to be a woman than now.
Looking back on the history of the world, I am sure grateful to be a woman right here, right now. I love that I am valued by society. I love that I can vote and drive and travel on my own. I have a say in societal issues, and my voice matters. Our world still has a long way to go toward gender equality, but I am grateful to be a woman right now.
I love that I can do anything I want. I can go to college and study in any emphasis, and I can seek a career in any field. I have the ability to choose how I live my life.
I love that I have a distinct femininity.
I can't quite put my finger on why or how, but women are inherently different from men with different strengths, qualities, and tendencies. I love my deep, natural capacity to nurture and love and care. I love my sensitivity and tenderness. I love that I feel hurt when I see other people hurt, and that I cry when I'm really happy.
#I love other women
I love that I can be best friends with strong, beautiful, brilliant women. I get to associate with them and see their majesty from such a close perspective. I love the challenge of following my mother's example. I love the sisterhood that exists among my sister and friends.
#I love men
I love that as a woman, I get to fall in love with a man. I get to see his heart. I get to invest everything I am into him. I have the opportunity to take my strengths and abilities and combine them with his. Together, we can create life, build a strong family, and change the world.
I love that I can be my daddy's girl; I can admire him and follow in his footsteps. I love having brother. I learn so much from him.Men are incredible and do amazing things.
But I love being a woman.
我喜欢:我可以成为我爸爸的女孩;
Pros: I heard women orgasm more. It’s publicly accepted for us to wear men’s clothes. We can cry and not be laughed at. We are labeled as “perverts” less. We can smile at kids and not be considered suspicious. Nobody will squash your balls. We don’t have the societal pressure to succeed, unlike men. We can bear kids, get a long paid maternity leave, and always get help with a flat tire. In life threatening situations, kids and us get rescued first.
Cons: Monthly internal bleeding. PMSing, cramps, agony of it all. Lots of appointments in order to look “presentable.” Constant waxing, hair, tanning, nail oriented issues. We have to think about safety. Often you can’t take a stroll at 1AM in a park due to the fear of being raped, kidnapped, and murdered in the end. Being single is shameful, according to societal standards. We are judged by our physical appearance. We also get sexual harassments frequently.
I don’t know. It depends.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in my experience, women have a lot of advantages within society, because they “need” to be protected. Men are generally stronger and more agressive, which is great in career building and doing work, not so great in social interaction. I've heard a lot of women complain about not being taken seriously in workplace, being cut short in pay negotiation or not being offered a job, based solely on their gender. On the other hand, if you were to slap me, for whatever reason, I'm sure everyone in the same building would side with you, even if you were the attacker.
