Well, there are thousands of possibilities to do so. I could scam you and take everything you have, without ever meeting you.

yes!!! Too many people judge too early ❤️ this statement we should all keep in mind :)
Most people don’t understand this. When I speak a different language I feel like my personality changes. Does anyone else feel this way
Yes, this is common!!!
YES, its very common for bilingual people.

Yes, it's common for bilinguals
Yeah its pretty common, also you will think more logically when you're not using your mother tongue language, and you will think more emotionally when you do use your mother tongue languange.
True it’s like I am more confident in my mother language than any other I speak

i definitely feel it whenever i use Japanese I'm just soo polite compared to MY ENGLISH
Totally!! It's like you're completely a different person.
Yea, i assume like when you learn a foreign language you learn their culture, the way they act and the way they speak as well so that’s why you act differently
I speak Filipino, english and Thai.. And everytime i change to any of those languages my personality changes a bit too
Absolutely. My first language is French (Born and raised in France), closely followed by Arabic (Moroccan Background) and I have now been living in an English-speaking country for 15 years - Im completely schizophrenic lol
Ya I speak 4 languages and I feel like I’m having a multiple personality disorder
Yes, I feel the same way!! I believe it could be due to how when you speak the other language you are influenced by the culture of that language so that could be why.
Not if you live in a multilingual country like Malaysia
to be able to think in two different modes seems like a very useful ability. most people cannot even comprehend what that would be like. i'm learning a second language but i'm nowhere near fluent enough to subconsciously "think" in that language yet.

Definitely! I feel more extroverted when I speak English with a (generalized) American accent.
I notice this happens with me too!!!
Every time I use a southern accent I lose about 50 brain cells.
In my country is saying: How many languages do you know, so many times you are human
How?? Not for me I never felt that way, but I’m surprised that a lot of people say that it’s common.
Yes, I think the cultural impression tends to come out when you speak. It's a beautiful thing.
Same, I'm biracial and multilingual. It's because when you speak a language, you are embodying an entire culture.

I'm half-Japanese. I grew up in the US. As a kid I was called a lot of racial slurs. When I was 10, I visited Japan for the summer. The kids there called me gaijin. It's hard as a kid being treated like you don't belong in the countries of your parents.
@Lea Pougnaud Yoshioka I'm half Japanese and half Mexican I was born right after WWII, I grew up in a racist community in Arizona, I was hated by everyone! The Mexicans hated me because I was Japanese, the whites hated me because I was Mexican. My being half made school very difficult, even the teachers were mean to me, but life goes on, you learn how to deal with nasty comments, and in the end you're a better person because of the adversity.

Especially the discrimination
The interesting thing about the Korean-Japanese fella is that he could literally get by in either country without being discriminated against. Just simply don't tell anyone what his background is and he could blend in to ether crowd without anyone noticing.
My thoughts exactly.

Hi, I'm an American who works in Korea. If you are middle class or higher, you will be learning English everyday from age 4 through age 21. If you are a good student and your parents have money, you will know English. I teach at a cram school for 4-11 year olds, and as long as the students are in the building, they are not allowed to speak Korean.
