Yeah we hunt a few whales a year but the whales also come here to die safely like keiko came here lived and died same with flipper dont know if flipper died here. We take care of our ocean more than any other nation on this earth and we still have the diverse fishing industry everyone wish they had because we never do to much hunting. Culture is Culture and we can't change that anytime soon

The Japanese, Norwegians, Faroese and Solomon Islanders hunt cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) commercially. In South Korea, fishermen are also allowed to sell cetacean meat if the cetacean was bycatch. And plenty of other indigenous populations
