Over the past years of my life, I’ve realized how much my dad has done for me, despite the fact that I still think he is a complete douchebag. He sent me to China, because he saw great potential in me, hoping that I’d get better education than my two, oops, make that one other sibling would get in that shithole of a country that I was born in. If it wasn’t for me living in China, I wouldn’t had been more “civilized” and intelligent than I would’ve been, it also prevented me from seeing the cruel side of humanity and keep a pure and simple mind. That was until I witnessed a store robbery and store shooting when I was brought back to that shithole.

If it wasn’t for my dad, I would not have existed. I wouldn’t be who I am today without my dad doing all the things he did not just for me, but for my family too. He also helped me “open my eyes” and learn the harsh realities of life, and be grateful the for the things I have, because we were poor af. He set an example for me, because of the things he did, I knew what consequences making certain stupid decisions would lead to. Seeing his old photo galleries of him enjoying the time of his life instead of being with his family gave me an incentive to live my life to the fullest one day, but I’d probably not neglect my family like he did.

My father, throughout my school and college-life, used to drop and pick me up, no matter how busy or how important the work was, he never missed this even for a single day.
He was not rich, but he made sure that we lived a luxurious life.
He always understood what we needed or wanted, and he would always get that for us.
He has always treated me and my brother equally, he never said “ No, you are a girl and you can't-do that “, instead he says “You are a girl, you can even rule the world if you want to”.
Since childhood, he narrates at least one story/poem every night to me. Stories that inspired me, groomed me. Stories about the leaders, Gods, Sikander and so on…. He never narrated ‘fairy tales’ to us, he never wanted us to get dependent on or wait for any “prince” that will come and save us from the world.
After my mother died (in 2015), My father became my mother too. He fulfilled her role as well. From taking care of us to every little thing, he did it all.
Last year I was operated for my sinuses, I was not allowed to eat anything for 12 hours before the operation and a few hours after the operation. I was not even allowed to have water after the operation for a few hours.

When I wake up, he was sitting next to me holding my hand. I asked him whether he had lunch or not, “He said, I will have it after you”.
He even had water after me. His sugar level went down because of not eating anything, but he was so scared for me.
After I was operated, I was having this cotton pack all over my face, and there were stitches on my nose and lips. He took care of me like I was this small little girl, he cooked food for me and didn’t let me enter the kitchen for the complete month.
As we are going through the rough phase, we don’t have any maid or servant working for us anymore, he gets up early before me, and do all the household work on his own, from cleaning the utensils to cleaning home, so that I don’t have to do that. We have fought over this so many times but he never listens to me on this topic.
He is the most honest and loyal person, He never lies, never cheats (in relations or in business), never takes the side of the wrong, always take stand for the right thing…..etc.
He has saved so many lives, once he saved the life of a small kid (10-years-old) who met with an accident, his left eye came out, his head was seriously injured, while everyone was scared and shocked by the horrible site, he took that kid in his arms and immediately rushed to the hospital.The boy is half paralyzed now but is alive. His family was so thankful to my father for saving his life.
He is a selfless person, he has always lived his life for others, by helping them when they were in need, when they needed him or his money.
P.S: There are so many other things as well, which makes him different from others. I LOVE MY FATHER because of the good person he is.

Just seeing this question makes me tear up.
My father is an amazing man. I still call him “daddy” because I never grew out of it, but he deserves that title because he has done so much for me.
Right after I was born, my father held me in his arms and called me “dolly” because I looked like a little doll that he would care for the rest of his life.
When I was a kid, I would trust him with all my secrets because he would rarely get angry with me.
When I was a tween, I would start to rebel, but my father would never hit or yell at me. He would calmly explain what is right and try to understand my side too.
When I was in my early teens, he would always support me academically. He would create practice problems for me to understand concepts. He would sit with me for an extended period of time if I was having trouble with understanding what was taught in class, even if it cut into his work time.
He would stay at home to work when I was sick so that he could take care of me. He would prepare food for me and bring it up to my room so that I would not have to feel exhausted.
While our family does not express emotions that often, I would usually go to my father if I was not feeling well.
My freshman year java teacher, and my father, were the ones who supported me in my decision to pursue computer science.
Now, in my late teens, I am thankful everyday that my father is still here for me. I tell him almost everything, from social to academic endeavors. I love talking with him during our weekly video calls.

Let me tell you his story. He was the last child in his family and as soon as he was born, my grandpa passed away and he was called a bad omen. He was raised in poverty with his brothers and sisters as the relatives neglected my grandma and cheated her of everything as soon as my grandfather passed away. But my grandma was a strong willed person and took care of her children and raised them well.
My dad was made to do odd jobs and cleaning work by his relatives. He used to wear the old and tattered clothes of the relatives and when he asked for new clothes he was told he can’t have new ones cause he was the reason my grandpa passed away. He went to a government school and started learning English only when he was in his 5th grade. But, he is a very inquisitive and knowledge thirsty person. He made sure he gained something new in whatever work he did.
He wanted to become a doctor and took science for his higher studies but fate played a game and he couldn't write his exams. So without any option, he enrolled in B.Com. Later became a CA and is one of the best in my city right now.
Ask him anything and he will have an answer for everything. Taxation, investment, business, mythology, medicine, carpentry, politics, cinema and what not. Why? Because he reads, reads and reads a lot. He also made me develop that habit by making me read from a very young age. Wherever I go, I am regarded with respect once people know I am his daughter because of the empire he built from scratch purely by his hard work. Not to mention, he has always been a kind hearted person, helping people in need whenever he could with education and medical expenses.
he has never said No to anything I have asked for (reasonably :3) My granny on her death bed told that she wanted to have her last breath only in my dad’s house. He has been an amazing son, wonderful husband, awesome father and most of all, a fantastic human.

Yeah i love my dad like anything. He is one of supportive person. Even in my studies when i get low mark he won't scold instead of that he give ideas to get good marks at next. His planning , suggestions are always fantastic. I can't say no to that. He cares for me like sky high. I can't explain it in words. He knows I'm fear of darkness so he is always behind me. I usually fear of animals like snake, dog. He says that you want to get out of this fear.. and give suggestions. Now somehow i manage when i see these things. One of best thing is till now he doesn't instead me to be first bt want me as best. Even evryone tease me i won't say anything. But he say you want to face people. He says that if there are good at teasing show what you are good at. They will stop. But reality its happened. He can't see me in sad. I used to smile for him always. When I'm sad none of comfort me like him. One of best quality abt him is his honesty level. In future i want to be like my dad in character and everythng.. Its one of my dream. I reckon every single son or daughter in this world love their parents and I am a no exception.They are the reason why we got to see this beautiful world and it is more than enough reason to love your parents.
The quality of my dad which makes me love him a lot is that he is always beside me.He will always encourage me in whatever decision I take and will always back me up. He played a crucial role during my JEE preparation.
He ensured that I never felt too much pressure or expectations from them during my jee preparation.
He always encouraged me during my jee preparation days.When I would score less marks in test, he was the one who lifted me up and told me that one bad performance doesn't matter.
He made it clear that Jee was not the only option for me. He told me to prepare sincerely and leave the rest to almighty.If you have worked sincerely and with dedication, even if you don't get sexted, there is nothing too be sad about it,that's what he said to me during my jee preparation days. That always made me feel a bit relax.
He always has plan B ready incase plan A does not work. I remember he had fill online form of about 10 engineering institutes for me incase jee didn't work.
Even today if I don't do well in a subject in my college,he would not scold me but encourage me to do well in the next semester.He himself being an Engineer has helped me a lot as he knows how tough it is to get good pointers in exam .
He is the one who takes my side when I have an argument with my mom and tries to convince her even if the fault was mine.
He hardly scolds me and my sister( he has a lot of patience,another quality which I love about him) but also ensure that we donot get out of his hands.
In addition to this I love my dad because of his dedication to his work. He thinks about his work 24×7 and loves his job.( He hardly has time to spend with us and this irritates my mom a lot ).
My dad is my role model,my hero and I hope that I can become a dad like him.

我认为这个世界上的每一个儿女都爱他们的父母，我也不例外。他们是我们看到这个美丽世界的原因，也是要爱JEE你父母的充足理由。
