I was 15 or 16 year old, living with my parents in a very conservative and traditional household. I went to my mum’s jewelry box and took a random necklace that looked expensive and that I had never seen her wearing it. I was ecstatic and scared at the same time. However, I thought, since I had never seen my mum wearing it, shouldn’t be that big of a deal. It was.

Even if it could have solved many of their problems. I later found out that the true value of that necklace, just based on the amount of gold, would be around €5,000. Possibly much more if we factor any historical and cultural significance.

I maintain my distance and make sure i don’t touch any girl in a crowded place by mistake.
