A complete and total disrespect for what is true and correct. Disgust at the truth. Impaitence and critical thinking skills. Truth No matter how distasteful is ignored in favor of not hurting someone's feelings. People not taking the higher road and admitting mistakes asking for forgivness forgiving and acknowledgement of not knowing it all. Asking for help and giving well thought out responses in the form of help. Being self sufficient and relying on ones self for basic needs. And showing others that it can be done. Sacrificing comfort of some things for the betterment of others and further encouraging others to perticipate in helping those with less possessions to strive for accomplishment of personal goals including work health hobbies worship liesure and rest.

Politics in the US has always been based on the Cultural Assumptions of the Judeo-Christian- Atheist Ethic which means that the “Sovereign Individual” is the Basic (and Only) “Real” unit of humanity. Groups are not “Real” therefore there is NO defense against All kinds of Evolutionary Developments of varieties of Selfishness. Shame no longer works since the communities that make it work have been so thoroughly destroyed. That has meant is that the most successful “Businessmen” are those who are the MOST evil corrupt and shameless. All others fall by the wayside. Or at least don’t get much Press. This whole philosophy is based on the arrogant outdated idea that “there is no alternative”. Luckily Science is belatedly discovering that “Consciousness” is a “Field of Energy” and we are all in it including God if any and animals too probably. It’s not that the Individual doesn’t exist just that there is a lot more to the Universe than our Primitive “Religions” recognize.

Everything. That is American politics is a wonderful philosophy of “freedom” based upon a self regulated social order. Modern American politics has descended into self serving opposition regardless of the value of an opponents propositions negative diatribes called negative campaigning which is justified because “campaigning is a dirty business” and a terribly manipulative party system. We have descended into a George Orwell’s 1984 world in which a lie is truth and the truth is a lie. Fortunately countless American institutions from the free press to universal education cannot be controlled by such destructive populisms.

Too many people (*cough* Bernie *cough*) compare us to Western Europe as if such a comparison is reasonable or even desirable.
