Didn't the US previously impose sanctions on Iran? Surely the point of those sanctions was to make it harder for them to get their oil to the international markets..
Now the US and Israel started a war with Iran and the oil price is spiking, the US now see it as a top priority to get the straits open so oil can flow?!
