From sprawling high-speed rail networks to massive dams and futuristic cities, it seems like China builds everything faster, bigger, and bolder. But it's actually not that easy to find reliable information about their most recent projects. So that's why we made this video.

Hey everyone, while researching Chinese megaprojects, I was yet again surprised by the amount and scale of their most recent projects. For example, I hadn’t heard about the pinglu Canal before, even though it’s one of the largest excavation projects right now. We’ve made similar Top 10 videos for other countries before, but this is probably the one with the largest projects. So I hope you enjoy it

You didnt talk about Dalian new airport thou. It'll be build on reclaimed land and will be much bigger than Kansai International Airport, the current record holder

The is only one power station capable of matching the Medog hydroelectric station at the Great Bend. The two most capable locations for hydroelectric power on earth are the Great Bend and the Congo River at Inga Falls. No other locations on earth have this much power potential!

A video combining both locations showing the potentials, challenges, designs and differences would be simply fantastic and interesting!

I'm not a fan of American politicians, but you should understand that in China many projects had no alternative at the time of construction, while the burden on infrastructure is many times greater.

Infrastructure of Europe and the USA has been developed for a long time. It is irrational to build a new super mega expensive bridge where there are already a lot of roads and private plots.

Do you think having the largest population, surpassing China, helps these issues India has? The density near anything that resembles water is so crowded that fresh, clean water is a thing of the past.

One more thing: the Shanghai East Railway Station is currently under construction and set for completion next year. Once finished, it will surpass Chongqing to become the world's largest railway station, featuring even more advanced technology.
