West actually needs strong India as a counter balance in Asia but guys like Justin Trudeau acting like dada,once Chinese economy crosses US GDP and hit the 25 trillion mark gap can widen and global dynamics will change, we also never know how Chinese will react in top of the ladder esp with Coronk, while India can be predictable,west too went after China too much on issues like Hongkong riots which Chinese didnt like, on a whole we are having a interesting decade ahead things are unpredictable to me.

West need India to fight China . They won't repeat the same mistake that they did with China. China was lucky West was not looking for China to fight Soviet. Had China crossed its limits then ,China would have lost the opportunity to become world factory.
India has raised doubts in mind of West that if India being around 4 trillion economy is behaving this way what would happen if India became a strong economy. Now they are looking at China also.
Always remember one thing in mind . West is not desperate. US and Soviet has became friends when Hitler need to be countered which has even became a bigger threat.
After Canada and US , I guess the target is now South Korea. From past two days ,a number of pop ups have been regarding South Korea also.

My god Around 85% of world textile is bangladeshi now. Iphone are made in china doesn’t make them Chinese. Same is bangladesh. They are just the manufacturer. So technically most brands give contract to china and now bangladesh to “manufacture” their cloth. So the adidas, nike, puma you’re wearing is bangladeshi. H&M has almost all manufacturing in bangladesh now.

Just think what would have been Bangladesh's fate if there was no help from Korea and China for BDs garment industry and development, millions of BD people would have become Indian citizens illegally due to unemployment. No trade has the potential, except Garment industry, to upgrade millions of poor people economically successful within a short period, BD is shining example of poverty eradication and economic success.

There are some businessmen in Rajkot who are trying to manufacture textile machinery for factories in Surat/ Silvassa. According to them, they wanted some direct monetary benefits, which they never got. So they are improving, but at snails pace.
Most Factories in Surat & Silvassa are in talks of being sold to developers. In the short run all the share holders will profit tremendously.

Apply your brain. Whatever Bangladesh can do India can do in its sleep. If Bangladesh can import machine from China why can’t India? Or even better why can’t India manufacture its own machines. It’s not rocket science.

Very true sir. I was really amazed when I came to know that delicate elastic for undergarments are now being imported from Bangladesh by Tiruppur garment companies. This is considering that we have been in this product line since decades. Neither did we move up the line nor did we do any backward integration wholeheartedly. Our textile machinery are weak.

There is no way India will ever reap befit by joining hands with China.
May be temporary benefit, but by becoming a pet we will always be a disposable asset.
We are in a kill or be killed situation. China is already doing all in capacity to sidelines India. Our Vishwaguru has failed to cater that and we are now surrounded by dragon from all side.
A war level efforts is needed to make India at least technically challenging to mess with. With AI and Drone technology on horizon, we are almost on brink of failure if we do not do something at war level to gain technical superiority.
