There are many problems facing India but let us look at the major ones which are not that obvious like poverty or illiteracy or corruption;

1.Lack of integrity; Businesses want to make profit at any cost, bureaucrats want to make money at any cost, politicians do politics without any morals, media has no principles, small and medium traders do not want to pay taxes, farmers (rich or poor) expect government to pay electricity bills, subsidies for fertilizer, waive off loans, And all blame someone else for their misery or cite others as a reason for their deeds. recently in FB I got a post from my very good friend which showed how traders are suffering due to GST(those guys who evaded taxes) and it was said that while there are people with money in Swiss bank, these traders are suffering due to GST and taxes. Another friend of mine who is a small traders stands to lose business due to plastic ban in Maharashtra so he keeps spreading misinformation about the ban. So basically people just drAw comparisons with some one else on the wrong side of the law to cover up their mistakes or irregularities
