I am a Chinese. I can distinguish Japanese & Korean language. No problem.
Korea is China’s next door neighbour. Though S Koreans do not want to admit that their culture incl language came from China, it does not mean Koreans can hide history.
Korean language sounds similar to Cantonese which was China’s language thousands years ago.
Koreans simplified Chinese written language too & reduced the number of strokes.
Korean dictionary is almost like a Chinese dictionary.

But Japan was also culturally influenced by China. Today Japan still writes lots of Chinese characters.
Japan changed from Chinese style in writing to romanisation mainly because Japan was bullied by Europeans at one point. In order to be strong like Europeans, they follow European way. That is why today’s Japanese is written & spoken like English.
See, Korean is Chinese style & Japanese is English style. Of course we can distinguish them.

It's not applicable to just “Chinese” whether you know the Japanese or even Korean without learning it at the first place.

Hi ! This question is very ambiguous. It might mean that how much percentage of we, Chinese, in China could differentiate spoken Japanese or Korean. I could easily say, all, but I would definitely say, the big majority of us. How Easy ? Very easy without any doubt. Why easy ? Because Japanese Kanji are Chinese Characters & Korean Hanja are also Chinese Characters although the latter are no more used in S Korea since late 20th century. Furthermore, just for the information of non-Chinese readers, nobody taught or learned Japanese in China. It is still the same today.
