In United States, mayor of the city of El Paso in Texas has said that it is on "a breaking point" due to rapid surge of migrants. Oscar Leeser mentioned in a press conference that more than 2,000 migrants are seeking asylum every day. A majority of these migrants are from Venezuela. Most migrants travel through dangerous routes to reach the border with the United States.

It's actually scary. At one point India had Bangladeshi migrants and Myanmar immigrants. Bangladesh economy is now slowly doing well so the migration has reduced. Myanmar one though, India had to forcibly close. If the source country can't manage betterment of economy for it's own people, then target countries have no option but to close the borders. Manning long borders sometimes becomes a necessary expense.

In reading some of these comments, I wish people had more empathy, tolerance, compassion, and understanding of other people. I acknowledge that's a naive thought, but what's wrong with having hope? Regardless of your immigration status, birth, or by other means of coming to America, there is no perfect life in America. 1. America was originally the land of the Indigenous people. Europeans came to America with their religion and eviscerated the people already here. 2. Infighting among the politicians elected to govern the nation and individual states is harming we, the people, they were elected to serve. Most have placed their own wants above the needs of the majority. 3. General society having people divided based upon race, gender, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation because their beliefs somehow are supposed to superced the rights of others. That sense of entitlement born out of their own fear. 4. Guns have more rights than human beings that have the capability of giving birth. 5. It's easier to ban books than obtain a military grade assault rifle for public use. Books help with vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking. Banning books isn't "protecting" children. Children need to grow up knowing how to handle millions of different problems in life. Shielding them from learning about accurate history, other cultures, and exploring through books is detrimental to them and the future of America. How will children that don't know the truth deal with people around the globe that have better vocabulary, comprehension, and understanding and how the world works and can cope with problems that arise? 6. LGBTQIA+ and people of color are all human beings facing various stages of hatred, intolerance, and discrimination for being themselves. 7. The biases of law enforcement and judicial system will have a Kyle Rittenhouse acquitted, yet Sandra Bland dies in police custody after being arrested for failing to signal a lane change. The point is that those coming across the border are human beings. Some are good. Some are bad. Just like the people already in America. The issue is complex. Therefore, the resolution is complex. But, we must maintain our humanity through the good and the bad in life no matter what.
