I wont agree for one nation because its unx of states, its language and its own culture and food habitat.
I wont agree for one language also because its not my own language. My language greatness is best when compared to this young language.

I'm also not a fan of reservation as it's currently implemented. But shouldn't we first ensure that we stop using caste based surnames and at least say 30% of marriages are inter caste before fighting against reservation? I think even Ambedkar said the same thing that mixing of castes through marriage would be the best way to deconstruct the caste system.

There will always be discrimination in marriage. Caste-based, race, culture, nationality, personality, economic or social status, and looks. Cast-based discrimination will be the first one to die or maybe it will be the only one to die. right now the older generation of people definitely believes in caste and younger ones mostly don’t care. Removing caste based surnames does not solve the problem. Tamil Nadu did it and Bihar had a similar phenomenon where people changed their surname to Kumar or simply dropped it. Guess what? They are as casteist as any other place in India.

Down South it is never easy to figure out which caste one belongs to just by the name. So in day to day interactions in public spaces, even if someone wants to discriminate, they can't because they won't know which “biradari” the other person belongs to. So caste gets taken out of everyday equations to a large extent.

Kannada? Malayalam? Telugu? No,definitely not!
Well,people from other states won’t even understand the language of their neighbour state.
So,lets put an end to this debate. Its impossible. Native speakers will riot about One Nation,One Language.

India is similar to European unx and instead of accepting this truth, we can see many people who failed in their social science subject during school days peddling false information calling India as a nation.

Everyone has their own language. they all have rich heritage in their own language. who would be ready to sacrifice their own language. a few languages has been sacrificed in the past because they dont have much of heritage or didnt get developed for multitude of reasons.

I am North Indian Hindi speaker and I think there is no need for One language. India is not ready for it. English is always there as a Bridge for us.
