I was there once. The view is breathtaking! One can truly enjoy what the mountain has to offer only by being there. Met the porters too. The pops you buy up on the mountain are carried by them. The physical challenge ones could take a cable car ride too. I did walk up there and took the cable car down. Spent one night up there to view the sun rise. An experience of a life time. Highly recommend to everyone.

I went to Huangshan mountain a week ago. It was an amazing view! The day before my friend and I hiked the mountain, it had rained. This was said by locals that it'll make it even prettier the next day when it clears. And it did. There was a fog in the morning that was beautiful to see going up on the cable car.

Once I was in Shanghai, China. I think it is somewhere near this mountain. Perhaps a few hundred miles. It was July and August, the temperature was so hot and humid. It was unbearable. Especially for someone from the SF Bay Area. Is the temp more accommodating when you are up there?
