Most Chinese people are very busy with their work growing their business instead of wasting their time on media and political stuffs. So when you ask them about political stuffs they really don’t care. If you’re nice and respect them they respect you back. They don’t care what you are or where you’re from. I’ve been working in Shanghai for almost 2 years and had a good time there.

It amazes me that Indians often refer to China as an enemy country in various forums. But the Chinese have never regarded Indians as enemies. It is normal for neighboring countries to have territorial disputes. China fought the Zhenbao Island war with the former Soviet unx because of its territory, and China and Vietnam also had wars over territory. If you ask if the Chinese hate these two countries? I believe the answer of most Chinese people is no.
让我吃惊的是，印度人经常在各种论坛上把中国称为敌国。但中国人从未把印度人视为敌人。与周边国家存在领土争议是正常的。中国曾因领土问题与前苏联发生珍宝岛战争，中国和越南也曾因领土问题发生过战争。但是如果你问中国人是不是讨厌这两个国家？我相信大多数中国人的答案是否定的。
I’m American, but in my heart and soul I’m Chinese. I also think Indians are awesome and friends to the Chinese. The border issue is sad but I have faith the problems there can one day be solved.

China and India are neighboring countries so war is not good strategic move from any side - provoked by western countries mainly USA and uk

Some countries'' people come to China with a lot of expectations. But it is not wise to go to other countries with such high expectations.
What Indian people expect from China is they want to be treated either normally or respectfully. They consider India as a super power country and they never behave as inferior particularly to the Chinese, that''s how Indians are. I would like to thank the Chinese people from the deepest part of my heart for accepting indian as nothing had happened between them.
I am afraid what if Chinese people go to India? Can Chinese people expect the same respect as Indian people are getting in china?

A good attitude and a respectful outlook will get you everywhere in China, there should be every reason for China and India to resolve their issues as countries, if people can get over these issues, the the politicians should make every effort to do the same for the great benefit of both Nations

In my opinion, people who are open minded, adaptable and respect local cultures, customs and the people, will not have any issues, wherever they go. Those which ego issues, thinking that they are superior to others, rigid or negative mind set etc., will faced problems or create problems , wherever they go or even, if they are in their own country.
