A young nation is crumbling before our eyes, while a very old one is watching, sadly. A beautiful country, with so much potential and so much already achieved, tearing itself apart. But all is not lost. We had a Civil War, over a hundred years before the USA existed, politically, and we ‘re still standing. Can the US find the strength to save itself? I hope so.

Law. US has state and federal laws. So some states within the US have the death penalty while others don’t. So there is no constancy of law across the country. Our country is not a paradise to live in, but then neither is yours. Both nations have their good points and their bad.

I will, however, concede that your weather is better than the UK - but that’s not a good enough reason to wipe out all the rest. In any case, US-driven climate change will make half the US a desert and probably increase average temperatures here, so even that doesn’t really survive closer inspection…
