I have these suggestions.
Vote for politicians who will work for everyone once they are in office. Not just for their traditional identity group - religion, caste, tribe, language, region, whatever. This will mean lower focus on divisive traditional identity issues, and more on economic growth.
Understand that India has a long way to go but can become an economic star within your lifetimes. Right now, India is 30–40 years behind China. It will take that long to catch up. Within your lifetime.
Get yourself the best education possible. You are no longer limited to your local teachers. The internet is at your command. Use it.
Most important: Enjoy your youth! There are many responsibilities ahead of you. Lots of hard work. Lots of things to do. So, this is the time to have fun. Don’t miss it now. It will keep you going in the future. You don’t need all sorts of things to have fun. When I was young, we did not have all the things you have. When my father was young, he did not have all the things I had. Both of us enjoyed our young days. So should you.

India is 127 years behind China. If we compare gdp per capita of both countries and the growth rate, we will realize it will take 127 years for India to be China. GDP per capita of China is $10k and if they grow by 10% , translates to $1000 per person. On other hand India per capita GDP is $2000 and 10% growth translates to $200 .

Some comments for these first two points
As if voters had any choice. Not a single candidate is good in any election, none even out of 150 candidates at a ward. It is not his fault because good person would not survive in Indian politics
In next 30 or 40 years, China would also progress, so catching China is already missed, never would happen if even India started to sprint today (a big IF)
And, current Govt is actually regressive, any future party wud be equally regressive As regressiveness pays in India.

Unless we ged rid of man made religious beliefs for convenience of his community and hatred on other community we can’t progress. The government should focus on growth and welfare of people rather then instigating people by doing petty political vendetta politics and implementing their own religious agenda which won’t help in building a self reliant strong economic nation.

The youth of India must use their energy to demand for jobs from Modi and BJP. The youth of India must work for building up India, nation building. The energy of the youth must not be wasted in loitering on the road side, penniless and aimlessly. The youth of India have a right to employment, high salaries, and living with dignity and happiness, and the satisfaction of serving the nation, and involving in building the nation, I mean, making India a global super power in economics and technology.

Watch the economy skyrocket.

This question is pretty well asked by many and the answer remains the same nowadays people looks for job rather than creating one this ideology needs a change make your own startup i know its not easy but even making your own teastall and hiring a chai dene wala boy is creating a job itself. Invest on agriculture as fast as possible. Reason is agricultural activities employees more than 60 percent of the nation.
As much as possible create a nation which is super strong in service sector. This point is very important as we have a good service sector. We need to make it the best part of india to run the nation efficiently.

Indian youths have little or no impact on changing economy but they do have ideas to help make it grow and my suggestion would be to look for opportunities outside India coz here we hardly have anything left.

Keep aside the habit of gossiping with fellow members and wasting time, don’t try to be burden of your parents, don’t try to become luxurious beyond your earnings and show artificial richness to your opposite sex.
For married youth: Don’t go for children more than two. Try to educate those two children with the values of mankind additionally to the normal school/college education. Save for future and live with gadgets which are just utmost necessary for a healthy living.

The goal of life should be earning money by all legitimate means.

Start small medium and what ever scale business you can afford.

In the final analysis, you cannot lose your hard earned money if you are an average intelligent person.

Stop blaming others: you can waste time on blaming others for your own failures, learn to effectively use the resources you have.
Be honest: the politicians who run this country in the future will be someone among you if you are not honest how can you expect the politicians to be honest.
