I don’t believe that, CIA has some sort Cajoles where it concerned, they have director then they have agenda. Those two things don’t match up with anything literal what you say controlled, info wizards outer, inner and national security, some reason wizard decided power grab is necessary?

The CIA has a close relationship with Saudi Arabia; thus each and every time Saudi Arabia conducts a terrorist attack on U.S soil (e.g. 9/11, Pensacola shooting, or even the assasination of Jamal Khashoggi), Trump has been there to absolve them of any wrongdoing.

The CIA has an interdependent relationship with the president. They have goals that require results. If the results are positive then the interrelationship with the president is positive, If the results are not good, the congress and courts should respond.
We are not in a dictatorship and one man should not act and then analyze his own actions, The analysis must be independent and fair.

I believe the Constitution says the power lies with the people who voted for the President and not with the nameless and faceless bureaucrats who run the CIA. The CIA exists at the pleasure of the President, not the other way around. Try reading the Constitution

There is a difference between the reason for the CIA and the application of intelligence practices. The president who negates the CIA, is rejecting the reason and the practices. He does not understand nor care what the people want.
The displeasure of the people is apparent.
The president is the leader and the people are the followers or the people are the leaders and the president is the follower. But this can only work if both sides are willing to judge the leadership of the other side and accept the principle of fluid leadership.

I think Neither, CIA its own wizard, and President depending who it is, democrat, republican they just never tell who they want as their leader, or depending current cheated leader let say CIA wants to keep him in power as long it takes to run the country.
I always remember them as traitors for doing that. They chose power like democrats.(current leader is so corrupt, even mob bosses would point that out).

I believe there is give and take. The CIA treats everyone as an asset to be used for an agenda, I’m not sure who pulls the strings there, but it comes as no surprise to me that the first spook in the office utter the phrase “New World Order” just before we started handing all of our resources out to countries that hate us.
If they are successful in their missions, it looks like just a tragic accident or a spontaneous rebellion that overthrows a government is some shit-hole country, otherwise we hear about the Bay of Pigs or the Gulf of Tonkin incident or whatever else they got sloppy with. Overall, I suspect we would be better off if they would have never strayed from the counter-intelligence, they are far better at than the tactical missions they seem to suck at so badly.
The usefulness of this organization is significantly reduced with the fall of the Soviet unx and I suspect we would have less problems if they weren’t stirring the pot all over the globe.
