The Egyptian Ministry of Education has launched a pilot project to teach Mandarin Chinese as a second language in 12 high schools. The project, in partnership with the Confucius Institute of Cairo, emerged from an agreement signed in September 2020 between China and Egypt to enhance bilateral cooperation in education and culture.

I have to confess this that there was a time when I didn't like the Chinese Mandarin but now after a year or so, after watching numerous Chinese dramas and movies I have come to like it more and more and its sounding so sweat. Specially, their dramas OSTs and ordinary day to day life. Chinese people are truly very sober, sincere and shy hardworking type who are still deeply rooted to their rich culture and heritage while progressing towards a shining future at the same time.I am currently engaged with French language learning but one day definitely try to learn Mandarin also.

The best way to learn culture is doing your own reserch and dive deeper to understand it. Instead of learning about other cultures from Western media.

Well, it's really great to see them having a chance to learn an extra language.I have a lot of Chinese friends studying in the college, I could understand them a bit. After I introduced myself as 'Niha' (short nickname of my first name), they start to say 'Nihao ma', I know it was a joke but I don't mind. They liked to called me Niha.

Guys, if you ever have kids, please teach them at least 2 languages. Don't teach them only your mother language because as they grow older, they will struggle learning another language. I'm chinese myself and can't speak mandarin because I was born in Spain, so my surroundings were always Spanish ppl. I can speak a dialect of chinese, but it isn't useful because not many ppl speak it.
