‘This fight is not over’, Biden signs order on US abortion access as Kansas voters reject limits

US President Joe Biden signed an executive order on August 3, 2022, aiming to make abortions safer and more accessible in the US. The order came a day after voters in the US state of Kansas rejected an amendment that would have taken away abortion rights. The result was unexpected in the conservative Midwestern state. In June 2022, the US Supreme Court overturned a landmark 1973 decision that protected abortion rights. Biden’s order, that follows a related measure he signed in July, directs health officials to explore ways to help women in states where the procedure is banned or severely limited.

Idk why people can't do more positive things , everyone is focused on the wrong things because of social media, everyone wants to just be the same and follow what everyone else is doing , what happened to all the dreamers , all the people wanting difference, they all just want what everyone else wants and want to be the same .

@Joey Hdz i'm 17 and i also don't use social media, only YouTube. I must say.... All the drama and politics always revolved around the social media. My life is generaly happier without thinking about stuffs on the internet. Just school, gaming, and such.
@Joey Hdz
I strongly disagree. I think these people who choose to fight for human rights and new better laws should be considered heroes to the country. They spent their precious time giving voice to the voiceless, rather than wasting their time on mindless hobbies.
I'm glad that even my third world country has better reproductive rights compared to America. Actually most Asian countries (even the Muslim majority ones) have average to advanced laws regrading abortion. I think the debate about abortion is mostly a problem in Christian majority countries, hence Africa and Americas (specially Latin America) have it the worst. The worst thing is- these parts of the world aren't even sexually modest and conservative like Asia. They need it more than we do, unless ofc they've no problem with having tons of fatherless and motherless children. Abortion isn't celebrated or entertained in Asia either, but it's considered a better option compared to having an unstable family (or an unstable society in general).
just curious...which Muslim country are you talking about?
@hz Mostly Turkic countries like Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan etc have extremely liberal laws (same level as Europe).Then there are more conservative countries like Pakistan, Iran, Maldives, Indonesia, Malaysia etc, where it's allowed in necessary cases.And lastly we've ultra conservative gulf countries, where it's mostly prohibited except when it's a health issue or a threat to the mother's life.I might be wrong, but there's only one Asian country where it's prohibited without any exception. The Philippines, which has the same culture and values as Latin America, so it's not surprising.
I agree with you. I am American and I wish my country was more like other countries when it comes to health care and abortion rights, among other things. America can learn from other countries on how better to take care of it's people.
abt 25% of american children alrdy comes from single parent household . i think it can get much worse without abortion.
Not one single person in the thumbnail needs to worry about abortions.
When I look to the people who are pro abortion I quickly become inclined to be against it.
They usually look like South Park characters
you aren't wrong tho. The whole America is south Park

You value people based on looks, of course you do not value women’a life and choices
A man should also have half the power in deciding the fate of an unborn child. After all, it takes a man and a woman to make a baby.
Absolutely not. Men only contribute only like 30 seconds out of the entire 9 months it takes to make a child. 3 pumps and your done. We are the ones carrying the child and sacrificing our bodies to create them. We are the ones who have to deal with all the symptoms and permanent changes to our bodies. Childbirth is also painful and life threatening. Diabetes , seizures, and postpartum depression. YOU never have to experience this, so YOU have no say in whether or not we birth a child. The US also has the highest rates of maternal deaths during childbirth out of all first world countries.

Trying to run from responsibility huh? And called it a woman right? found it riddiculous, sorry

Men run from responsibility of raising that child yet y’all don’t have issue with that
It's not your responsibility until it's born on the earth. Does a fetus get citizenship from the time of conception?
@Ria Rio fetus is already a human being and it will be protected by human rights.
@Ria Rio
@Jerome mendiogarin Funny how people care more about fetuses than actual children
@Jerome mendiogarin
@Jerome mendiogarin Lol it's not and in it's not protected by the constitution or laws in most sane and reasonably developed countries. That's just how it is. save Your personal feelings to yourself
@Jerome mendiogarin

Why don't you post his recent quotes? 16 years ago is IRRELEVANT. And when opinions and views change for the better that is what is important! Who are you to FORCE a woman to have a baby against her will?
5 years ago I loathed broccoli now its one of my favorite veggies... things change.
